There are some things I actually liked today. Some of the young receivers impressed me. The OL was pretty good in pass pro. Cat was good kicking. Liked the safety play, especially Adams. And it was close late, even if there was no point at which the Jets looked like they'd actually win the game.

I'm not looking at this from a wins and losses perspective. There were positives. And the team is closer to that top pick.

Well, if you're not looking at this from a win/loss perspective, please tell me what's left?

I mean not to be sarcastic or anything, but WTF is left? I mean are we supposed to believe this stupid sh*t coming from our owner and GM? Are we supposed to sit idly bye and accept this kindergarten crap?

There's ONLY winners and losers. There is NOTHING else. We can talk about the development of the rookies, but we are still a LAUGHINGSTOCK. This is just more depressing than I thought it could ever be...........

Well, I think he's miscast? Wouldn't you agree?

I mean if suddenly the Jets opted to deploy a 4-3 base defense and another coach, someone other than Kacy Rogers or Toilet, started coaching Lee, would you think that would work to the Jets advantage? I certainly do. I just see classic "Jonathan Vilma" written all over this? Lee MUST put on weight regardless of whatever style of defense he plays, but I can see him having success in a 4-3 working under the tutelage of a truly great 4-3 DC or HC?

Harris looked slow and done against the Pats. Purging the old men from our roster was a good move. Problem is they need to get rid of McCown and Forte too

Stay focused my man, stay focused. You can do it, lol! Seriously, I understand where your coming from but here's why it's easy for me. First I'm tired of routing for a above average but can't win the big one because the QB is holding us back. I also tired of routing for a mediocre to horrible team. Still with no franchise QB. Second, I love this youth movement rebuild mode their doing but they're killing the whole idea of this by starting McCown. If Hack was playing, (even Petty to a certain extent) not only would I be watching every play of every game, I'd be routing like hell for them to win. Simply because they're screwing this whole thing up by playing McCown, not only am I routing for McCown to get injured so Hack can play but as long as McCown is playing, I want them to be beat by 40 every game.

I guess we could play for wins and losses, load up with a bunch of aging veterans, all to make a run at 6-10 or 7-9 while the Pats steamroll to another division title. We'd have more wins that way, right? 2017 would be a better season if we did that.

Or we could play for the long term, finding out which younger players have talent and which don't, getting better draft picks along the way, and having young players get past their growing pains now. By doing that, the team might be awful instead of mediocre in 2017, but they would also be better set to success 2, 3, or 4 years down the road. I'm willing to sacrifice some minor short-term gratification for long-term success.

That's what's left.

Lol!! It's the stupidest shit I ever heard of and I don't think any team has ever done it. A team in a all out rebuild youth movement, starts two 30 something over the fucking hill wash out vets at the two most important skilled positions on offense. Very freaking smart!!! Ugh, I usually have a tailgate of 50+ of my friends each year for the home opener. This year there are only 17 of us going. You're not the only one who doesnt give a crap. Only thing that can excite us is if a young QB takes over and plays lights out but after watching them last season/pre-season, that's not going to happen.
