Looks like it. Cut our losses after the season. Should have signed Snacks. Another move that destroyed this team.
I agree. Hindsight is 2020 though. I thought that signing Mo long term was definitely the right move. I was wrong but I don't get paid to make those decisions. What we miss from Harrison is his leadership. He was outspoken and kept people in line. Now he's doing that for the Giants. Too bad.
Wilkerson......never thought he was a scammer for a pay day. I actually thought he was sincere in his last 2 rookie years playing so hard, but it was all to get his lifetime retirement. Cut him & bench him, Im tired of watching Wilkerson be lazy when there is many players wanting his job & will fight for it.
Couldn't agree more.... he is overweight, slow and is dogging it. I bench his ass in a heartbeat. And if and when I put him in and he still played poorly or dogged it I cut his ass.

I think he'll recover? He was always motivated prior to the contract. he didn't carry on, piss and moan, or hold out to get a new contract. His performance was not at all commensurate with his pay. The Jets made out on this big time. He was the epitome of TEAM and complete opposite of Revis in that regard. He suffered a broken leg playing his ass off in the last game from 2015 and was recovering all of last season.

I hate to say i was right again but I wanted Harrison because he is a winner...not a loser. The problem with an ox like wilk is if he gets older & loses some speed watch out. Now that being said the season is young ..lets see what happens.

I was one of the people that wanted to bring Mo back, but not at the money they paid him. That is elite pass-rusher money. Even at the top of his game he is not worth anywhere near $20,000,000 a year. He was a good player, never elite.
As soon as Mo put that $20 M # on the table Macc should have said Thanks, but no thanks, and went and re-signed Snacks, for what was it? $8 M? Really dumb move.
This regime just doesn't seem to get it. Bowles did the same thing with Fitz last year by naming him starter while he was still a FA. Effectively doubling his worth on the market. Who does that?

Honestly, I was advocating trading him? It was obvious to me at that time that the Jets and Mo's agents had reached an impasse. I never imagined they would get a deal done? I thought why not trade him while we can still get something for him. I was hoping that the trade would clear enough space for Mac to resign Snacks.
One guy is a real winner the other I can't say it yet but is looking more like a ???? everyday

Think they tried that MJ. Problem was he was asking $20M Nobody was going to give up a draft pick for a player they couldn't sign. Should have just moved on and used a 1/3 of the money on signing Snacks..
Nothing hindsight about this. We has Sheldon and Leonard..... So common sense says sign the area of need of Snacks not the area of luxury in MO.

As it stands now, he has a $20 M cap hit. If they cut him they will save $9M and have $11 M in dead money
i think wilkerson is sending a terrible message to the kids..
play hard, do & say the right things during your rookie contract.. then, act/practice/play like you couldn't give a shit after signing your next deal..
if he now only has enough heart & will to just be an exceptionally well paid JAG, bench him, then cut him a season's end..
hell, who's kidding who?? the jets would still be a lousy team this season, with or without wilkerson matching his best career numbers..

Today is my last day for supporting Mo. If he doesn't start to make an impact I will no longer root for him to succeed, but you can bet I will root for him to fail.
