I hate winning meaningless games, but I hate teams that quit even more.
WOW, definitely not what I expected. I figured the Jets would play hard and not quit but lose in the end. Two weeks in a row of wins huh. They call that a winning streak and who would have thought this? Well, there goes nothing. I'm thinking I'll just shut up the rest of the year and not think or post rather anything of them losing for this draft pick. I'm starting to think I'm jinxing them into wins and ruining our draft pick. Yeah, this must be all my fault, Lol!!!
unless this season turns into a disney movie, yes, we are spinning our wheels with a 38 year old JAG QB, on a one year deal..
it may have taken me four weeks into the season, but i was absolutely pulling for the win late in the game!! almost cathartic, actually..
If there's a QB they really want, they can go get him. It may cost a lot to move up( a couple #1's and a 3rd) but if you think that's your man, you find a way to get him. So don't worry about draft position and enjoy watching some of these young Jets run around a make plays.
I said it before and I say it again. This is like the movie Major League. Owner dumps all the talent in the hopes of tanking. We bring in a washed up QB. Our rookie QB is wild thing. And somehow our guys start believing and win some games. We just need to get Hack some glasses and we goto the playoffs lol.
Ok so back to reality.....Hey they played very non-Jet like. It was a terrific game to watch. Clearly some major snafus. However, it is very nice to watch these guys get better. I still dont like Bowles but him and Morton are def. getting these guys to improve.
Also, I still think we shouldnt be drafting a QB. Either pay cousins, or trade for Luck (current rumor is the Colts will be sticking with Brisset). I do not think we can develop a QB. Never could. Besides it would be so much nicer to use our picks on o-line, LB, WR, and CB.

Jets have same record as Cowboys, Steelers and Pats!! Let that sink in. We should beat the Browns next week and then have Pats.
I agree with you now since Cook tore his ACL today.
Remember these are the Jets.....Browns should be a win but we ussually find a way to lose =).
I am not changing expectations on the season unless we beat the pats.
Oh just to add to the win today......Giants are now 0-4. Id like to see a Giant fan talk smack now that my tanking Jets are 2-2 lol.
Since the Jets have effectively lost the #1 pick and have a little something going, I know I like to watch wins more than losses.
Say what you will, coaches and players don't play to lose. This team is one of the youngest in the league, and they are playing pretty decent football. Best part, they are fighting hard.

Hated seeing that happen to the kid today, but I think we have two pretty good ones.
This appears to be the case that the team not only wants to win but will do so, despite whatever managements plans were. I still don't believe they will be anywhere near a playoff team but they will be far away enough from the number# 1 pick. The Luck trade option is very intriguing but only if he's healthy. Besides the Colts never be so stupid as to do something like that.

I like the fact that Mac has placed a product on the field that will fight hard for their coach. I'd rather have one issue than 53 issues heading into the draft.
