Well, lets see how far this thing can go? Like Tebow said in another thread, lets ride this wave for as long as we can? In the end, we can always CLAIM we knew how good this team was just to piss off the haters that much worse...lol

It's funny, but not really how NFL talking heads are still raising their eyes and/or outright mocking the Jets. I flipped to NFL network after game to get some highlights, and all I heard were sarcastic comments about Jets. I'm not anointing Jets as a playoff team, not even close, but the lack of respect I'm hearing is pissing me off. There is a narrative about the Jets that is constantly replayed by these ex-jock idiots that is tiresome.

This season was always a lost one to me. I didn't get Sunday Ticket for first time in years. I hoped for 0-16 to guarantee a top QB. More than 0-16 I hoped some of the guys had talent and heart. Seems like they do. I agree with others if Petty can't beat out McCown then he is just a backup at best. McCown brings stability and leadership. The locker room has been cleaned up for the most part. Getting a 2nd round pick and Kearse for Richardson looks like a genius move. The team is playing hard and actually gaining an identity. I think the Jets can win 3-4 more games at most which completely destroys our pick, but a hardworking, tough team is more important than finding that elusive franchise QB. I would rather have Watson, but that means we wouldn't have Adams. There should be 4-5 decent prospects that we can target next year. I can handle the team losing because we really aren't very good, but I can't handle lack of effort so until they quit I won't quit on them.

Well said Sir.... And remember...we can still get a franchise QB? There's options around this whole thing. The Jets could stand pat and think about taking Baker Mayfield or Lamar Thomas? They could package picks to move up in the draft and they will have the picks necessary. The Jets are going to get a few compensatory picks and they can now be traded

We'll know rather quickly how good this team can be also. They get one more warm up game in Cleveland and then they get NE. They SHOULD beat Cleveland, but it will matter HOW they best the Browns. they must shut their running game down and show they can do it. They've only done it once this season. That's a problem. That should be the Jets greatest strength.........

It's pathetic. The hate is so strong. I would have hoped for better from national media outlets (not like the pro-Giants local media), but it seems like Jets hate is everywhere. And none of them will admit they were wrong. They'll just keep picking against the Jets every week.

I was watching highlights of yesterdays games and the two plays they showed were the McCown pick six and his second into where the receiver slipped. I had to rethink if the Jets even won the game. What a joke. Ezekiel, Bell, McCoy etc were to rip off a 75 plus yard TD, it would be all over the place.
