Thinking the same thing. Another critical development will be what JMorton and O can scheme up to offset Fins strong DL play. Just a thought, why not some 2 TE sets that include Leggett. Having two 6'5" + pass catching threats for the short to intermediate routes can help defeat a strong pass rush. Look what BB did those years with Gronk and Hernandez. Most importantly though, we have to be able to run the ball.
Yeah, I was thinking that to but was too lazy to post it. LOL
The last time we faced them the OL had a wonderful game. All in all, I'd imagine that Miami will be the lone game this season where every phase of the Jets fired? They did a great job and it really had me laughing in amazement. I didn't think they would have been capable of that given what everyone thought about the team leading up to that game? Even ST played well in that game.
So with that said, it's easy to think they will not play as well as they did the last time. The only good performance the DL has had this season was against the Dolphins.
I would absolutely agree with you and 2 TE sets with ASJ and Tomlinson. Is Leggett off the DL? I would also utilize the screen pass much more often than they did against the patsies. I thought that was one of the main reasons why we lost to the patsies was shitty play calling and the absence of taking advantage of the defense when we caught them blitzing? So I would certainly add screen passes to the game plan given the fact that the Dolphins have an excellent front 7 and it's hard to think the OL will play as well as they did the last time.......
