This team does not know how to finish games. That's because our HC does not know how to play chess. He'll sometimes come into a game with a decent game plan, but the very second the opponent changes things up, we are done,. This HC cannot make a second adjustment. He's thoroughly outclassed at that point.

Problem is NOT the head coach but certain players on the team... An over eager QB that doesn't know the situation putting us in bad situations, a CB that is playing like who we thought he was... It only takes two idiots to fuck shit up... Bowles is not calling plays on defense, he is not calling plays on offense...
He should be in both of those players ears to tell the QB this is the reason we are your 8th team we already witnessed Fitzfizzle last year we don't need that type of replay from you... As for Buster, he has flashes of good but when he started to become the issue he should of been benched rather have a rookie out there making mistakes then a veteran being the cause of a literal let down by a defense that was playing hard all game along...
At the end of the day this team is still a young learning group that play good for the most part but then when one or two make bone head moves no one is pulling them aside to stop the bleeding...
bowles is not the problem, certain players are?? who signs off on the depth chart?? morton?? rogers??
by your own admission, bowles should be in the players ears when they start shitting the bed.. if bowles isn't calling the plays & also is not stopping the bleeding, what the hell is he doing on the sidelines?? perfecting his blank stare & his befuddled look??

Well if that's the case, then let me suggest perhaps Toilet SHOULD be calling plays on offense and defense? And if he doesn't have anything to do with the offense or defense then what exactly is he doing?
You are trying to capture this game and the reason why we lost and I am telling you this has been happening for a while now. Not just yesterday, but ever since Toilet has been coaching this team? The very second the opponent steals momentum from Toilet, Toilet is DONE. he does not have a second adjustment in him? For example like benching Skrine? For example like requesting McCown a screen pass down the middle of the field to get a drive started?
This has been symptomatic of Toilet's regime all along. He lacks the ability to break down X's and O's and figure out what his next move is. In game adjustments is one of the most important things for a HC to know. Look at the past and see how many times the Jets have momentum stolen away from them to NEVER get it back?
This is why I say Toilet does not know how to play chess. You can blame certain players all you'd like, at the end of the day ALL of this always falls on the HC's shoulders........

And I would rather lose with Petty at QB. McCown is too expensive to make those game killing mistakes. Let him earn his paycheck by coaching the young QB's.
Agree here, TB wants to win now and thinks McCown gives him the best chance to do that. Typical Jets luck...as soon as the TV announcers agree McCown should run a safe play he does the exact opposite. Such poor judgement for a veteran is inexcusable at this level.
