He will but they will just trade out to a team looking to trade up to get a QB... SO there won't be any implications on their pick. Cause a QB will be taken in their slot by someone.
Excellent point. I'm okay with the Jets trading up. Philly gave up a ton for Wentz but no one talks about that now. Just get us a damn QB
Hopefully we can draft a QB. Cousins is going to be one of the highest paid busts ever. Never seems to make the big throw.

I would say the niners are out on a qb. I also heard that the browns see flashes in kizer and that they would consider barkley at number 1 and skip a qb again. I don't know how true that is.
Do you think Dallas would be interested in Forte since Elliott's suspension was upheld?
That's an interesting idea. That is def something I would look into.
Unfortunately the Jets will pay Cousins like $50 mil a year to come here and do pretty much nothing when they can hopefully draft a Josh Allen and groom/play him at 22 years old be our 15-20 year franchise guy. They are just that stupid, a step above the Browns and that ain't saying much. It's just what the Jets do and I'm sorry to say this but it's the truth and we all know it!!!

This is two things. Number 1 it's complete arrogance on the cheetahs part by saying that they don't need a number 2 qb. Did the league finally put the Unwritten rule In Writing that any defensive Player Who Gets Within 5 Yards Of Brady Will Automatically be Suspended For The Season? Of Course Anyone Can Play Qb Behind Their Oline With 20 Seconds To Throw Every Time.
The Other Thing Is This. If The Jets Had The 1 Or 2 Pick Then Both Kids Would Stay In School So As Not To Be Drafted By The Jets. If The Jets Need To Trade Up To Number One Then We Can Actually Draft A Qb. Cause the kids might not realize what we're up to and enter the draft

You have to ask yourself, could the Jets trade up to 1? The browns look to have that pick, since youd have to think a Garropolo can win the niners a few games. I have heard that the browns are intrigued with Kizer and some mocks even have them picking Saquon Barkley first overall. Then you hear about them trying to get McCarron. So there is a lot up in the air since the Garropolo trade.
If they overpay Cousins that will be it for me. He is a younger Josh McCown basically. When the lights shine the brightest he throws it to the other team.

Initially I was opposed to them giving up the farm for a QB but not anymore. We are long overdue for a young franchise drafted QB. Since Namath, O’Brien (I guess???) and Pennington (maybe). So get it done by any means necessary please. Problem is, this is the Jets so will they trade up and draft the right QB? This was my point from the beginning, why play McCown just to go no where accept messing up our draft position? From let’s say 4th-6th to have to trade up to go to 1st-2nd. If they would have played Hack or Petty then we’d know regardless if we have a franchise QB. By either of their performance and our record would be around the same anyway to decide where to go from there. If anyone thought the Jets had any chance of making the playoffs with McCown, including the CS and management I truly question your football knowledge. Just truly baffling IMO!!!

So basically , I think the reasoning behind starting McCown was so that the rest of the team would be behind it rather then if we started one of the kids and everyone else throws in the towel from day one. Then we don't get to see what we have from anyone. I think management figured since McCown hasn't won 3 games in the last 8 years combined , then what are the chances he wins 3 now to take us out of the #1 pick hunt.
What they forgot to figure in is that : we are the Jets. You had to figure that when we met up with the cheatahs for the 1st time this year that we would still be in striking distance so we could blow the game against them and then never win again. That way everyone is devastated from blowing a chance for first place while at the same time we have already won 3 games taking us out of the running for the QB picks. Not that it matters anyway because either would stay in school, if they knew the Jets were drafting them. Break hearts and breakum hard. That's what the Jets do.
he only thing worse that they can do to us now is put in Petty or Hack and have them look good enough so that they don't even try to draft a QB. Then of course next year Petty or Hack would suck after we spend our draft pick on a defensive lineman to replace Richardson.

Anyone know why the cheatahs traded Garopollo anyway? Was his contract ending at the end of the season? He looks like a decent looking kid.
