You never know what you are going to get with Fitzpatrick, sometimes he plays great, and sometimes he sucks.

MOST of the time he sucks. This is coming from a guy who BELIEVED in Ryan Fitzpatrick last season? I admit it. I drank the Kool-Aid and fell for the hype hook, line, and sinker. However, I have arrived back at reality. The REALITY with Ryan Fitzpatrick is that he only plays well against BAD teams. Team that are below .500. The JETS are currently below .500. So that's what this game is all about essentially? The Jets think and the fans think, they are a BETTER team than your run-of-the-mill below .500 team? In 10 days we'll find out the answer.
But a few things to consider from that:
Bowles is supposed to be a Parcells disciple. Parcells coached teams always played well coming off of a bye. If Bowles is truly a Parcells disciple this should be a great opportunity for Bowles. he gets to prove to himself that he can motivate this team coming off of a bye? He can prove that given 10 days to prepare, he can install a GREAT game plan. He can also prove to the players and the fans that the Jets can be a better road team?
TB is not very good and in complete disarray. Jets win if there is actual a culture change. Same ole Jets if they lose.
Jets won't really be coming off of a bye. Just a longer than usual break due to playing on Thursday.
The Jets defense has been chomping at the bit all season and missing out early to play cohesive football. The game vs Buffalo showcased that this defense when its all clicking can be a top 3 force.
If that same team comes to play vs Fitz, it will be a slaughter,
If that same team comes to play vs Fitz, it will be a slaughter,
If the DL plays like it did against the Bills, Fitz is in for a beatdown.

10 days is almost like coming off of a bye week. But you're missing the point anyway. The point is, Toilet is supposed to be a Parcells disciple. Parcells was always great coming off the bye. WHY might you ask? Because he was a master motivator and a strategist.
In contrast, Toilet is 1-3 coming off bye weeks or slightly similar.
Toilet has an excellent opportunity here to prove that he can install a great game plan. That he can motivate his players. That he is a Parcells disciple. Because up until now he looks like anything but that.
Well, Bowles and Rodgers should dream up a hellava game plan.They watched this guy for two years, they know what he does well and what he doesn't. The Bucs are also down their top WR.
The Jets have to watch out for Brate and Howard, maybe take away the short passing game and make Fitzzle throw up a couple of wobbly ducks.
Point is, this team needs to come out, against a team playing their 2nd string QB, missing their #1 receiver, and make a statement.
I do not want to see Bowles press conference after this game, if the Jets lose, and "give credit to the other team and how well they played." or "I'll have to look at the tape" when discussing his own teams play.
I don't know how the rest of the year will pan out but this week should be a big fat W and go into the bye at 5-5.

The good thing for the Jets is the have a mini bye and then a real bye so coming out of the bye they should be completely healthy and make a run at a wildcard.
