Yhe season is pretty much over, we can't expect any more slip ups. We lost out on the top pick and we did nothing but get a few meaningless wins for Todd Bowles.

I know he has played decent and isn't the entire problem today but enough is enough with a 38 year old QB.
The Jets had10 days to gameplan for this depleted Bucs team and they came out like SHIT.
I thought, as a coach, Todd Bowles had turned a corner getting his team ready to play.
This flat, lifeless,uninspired dogshit display reminded me of 2016 waaaaaay too much. Nothing done in the first half to zap his team out of it's doldrums.

Tell everyone that a QB change is not McCowns fault but they have to see what they have in the younger QB's going forward.Use the Bye week to get Petty up to speed.

So true, with only a few minutes left in the game he also sprinkled in a few pass plays for Zero yards, now that's some real playcalling there...OC is a weakness on the team.

Yup, looking at the remaining schedule, we should finish with 4 wins. That's 4 too many. Had we played every game with today's effort we would have the top pick locked up

This is just another example of why I do NOT believe that Bowles is a good HC? I've been complaining about his lack of in game adjustments and that's what cost the Jets very winnable back to back to back. The only difference yesterday was that the Jets NEVER had momentum right from the opening whistle. Bowles saw this happening, he KNEW what was coming based on how flat they were and yet still no in game adjustments? Did anyone see him try something different because I certainly did not?

But it's safe to say that this is the end of our season. Now, we'll have to deal with various other deficiencies our HC brings to the table, like his unwillingness to let anyone besides the old, beat up McCown play. His very conservative approach when he has a lead and it doesn't matter if that lead is even one point, he goes into such a conservative shell that he plays not to lose. Been there, done that many times with HERM EDWARDS.

This is the point where Mac HAS to step in a say we need to see one of the young guys start at QB. Enough is enough. Even if you don't believe in either of them you have to see what they can do before next season. It should have been done right from the start but Jet management doesn't have the past successes to justify taking that course and Bowles was playing for his job. Crazy how Mac purges the team yet lets Bowles start a 38 year QB. Just doesn't make sense. Mac needs to start pulling rank..

In his post game interview, Toilet said what we've been saying for years when he said "They played the whole game in our backfield". How many times have we wondered when the Jets were going to start drafting, and developing, offensive linemen? Doesn't matter who plays quarterback as long as he'll be looking up a the pile on top of him, or the dirt below him, all game.

But even I in my ignorance know that when the defense has 8 men on the line of scrimmage and has the worst secondary/pass defense in the league, you don't call a running play as we did consistently throughout the first half. I put this loss largely on the coaching staff and poor play calling. Why we waited until late in the 4th quarter to start throwing the ball baffles me...

Guys...... it all feels familiar, I get it. But seriously... WHo cares... The D showed up good. McCown, played like crap good.... We lost..... WHICH IS GOOD!!!! the higher the pick the easier it is to either A) draft the qb we need or B) have to give up less to trade up. Emotionally I wanted us to win and beat Fitz but ulitmately this season is going just fine.

Keep you're head up this game was fine. you can put the narrative of Same ole Jets on it but the reality is Until we have the franchise QB it will always be the SOJ.... So it was good to lose.
