Better be careful, the last time he talked that way he got his jaw broken.
Rex is coward for saying this. He drafted Geno, played him as a starter from a rookie and stuck with him until he got fired. Why say that now that your not the HC of the team? It was bush league and total BS on his part. Geno isn’t a true starter and no better then a McCown or Fitzpatrick in the full scene of things but to say that about him but draft him, start him and never bench him. Come on Rex!!!

A fact is a fact? At least that's the way I feel? What Rex had to say about Geno was absolutely the truth. The Jets never helped him out at all by putting weapons around him? That was a problem. However, Gno never did anything to help himself. In fact, he did everything to ruin his chances in NY. He's certifiably STUPID that goes and gets into altercation with players he's supposed to be the leader of. And don't any of you give me this he didn't ask for it shit, being leader goes with the job. Whether you like it or not, leadership is part of the job description when it comes to being a QB. Geno failed miserably on that front.
And lets be honest here, Rex does not care to ever have Geno Smith or Mark Sanchez play for him again. Even if he got another HC job tomorrow, he wouldn't go contacting their agents? He would go in an entirely different direction because he wants the team to WIN.............
I cannot tell you how happy I am that POS Geno is gone, he was the very definition of a locker room CANCER...............
Geno is not a starter and Rex is not a HC.
