The Jets were exposed...
Todd Bowles gave us a feel good season which hid many of his well known failings- well they finally were on display. 3 timeouts in the first half at the end - but he decided not to use a single one. Saw McCown hurt in the first half but was soooo stubborn he sent him back in even though he couldnt throw the ball after that and meanwhile had petty on the bench (not that petty did much better). Team was completely unprepared....The defense might as well been playing against the pro-bowl team....so sad.....This was a must win game for the playoffs and really for the coach to prove it. Well like all games that really matter - Bowles gives us a let down and better yet a let down in humiliating fashion.

Btw - back to reality with McCown - he stinks. Our Oline is terrible, our secondary is weak (CB's), no OLB, and not sure what is going on with the receivers......

Your right but don't be down on McCown today because he got hit more today then Tom brady has in his entire 50 year career.

McCown gave his heart and soul to this team this season and has a darn good season. Many of us might rather have seen what petty or hackenburg had but that's not McCowns fault. He just wanted to go out every day and give his all

honestly they can actually put together a game plan for Petty to be successful, and if he gets a little time to wind up and chuck it we will be able to expose the Saints over the middle if ASJ stops drinking again because he looks anemic out there... Now that Tomlinson is long snapping he won't be in as backup tight end that means more snaps for Sterling who isn't worth a damn...

for Petty to be successful the mix of Stewart and Hansen needs to be in the cards as well, just on the chemistry stand point...

Not down on MCcown - just mad that he went back in the first time when he was clearly injured and unable to play at 100%. Its not like Tom Brady at 50% where hes still 100% better than anyone else.....and Petty was moving the ball for those 2 plays. Why not wait to pull him until the set is over....more on bowles.

i never wanted mccown to take one regular season snap for us but anyone being intellectually honest will not try to tell you the guy doesn't legitimately takes his job & position of leadership seriously..

i'll even grant you his numbers have been solid.. problem is, when the guy makes mistakes, he doesn't half ass it, he goes all in..

that's as easy to present as evidence as his numbers this season..

looking forward to seeing what petty brings to the table with a full week of 1st team reps going into the new orleans game..
