Darnold and Rosen declare for NFL draft

Very happy about this.
Lots of options in this draft:
Jets gotta come away with one of these:
Rosen
Darnold
Mayfield
Rudolph
Allen
Though if Saquon Barkley is there at 6, i would draft him instantly. Then jump back into the first trading my 2 2nd rounders to get a Franchise QB.

That means neither one expects to be picked by the Jets
The Jets are hardly the worst landing spot of teams picking early.
There are only 3 teams, right now, picking ahead of us that are certain to pick QBs so I'd say that the odds of us winding up with one, IF, the Jets want one of them is good. That could change if another team trades up and the Jets have said that if there is a QB they want there they are willing to trade up. In a nut shell, odds of getting one of them is good but there is no guarantee.
I don't know, Assuming Indy isn't drafting a QB, that leaves Cleveland , Denver and the Giants. Obviously Cleveland is not a place anyone would want to play, which is funny because they are loaded with high draft picks and old patriots that wanted more money from belichick. If I were a young qb, I'd be glad to play in Denver or with the Giants. So i would say the Jets are #1 or #2 place a young QB wants to go given those choices. Factor in the state of our oline and the fact that at best we can finish second in our division until belichick leaves. looks pretty bleak.
Heck, Peyton Manning went back to school to avoid the Jets and parcels would have been his coach. that was one of the saddest days in Jet history
Manning didn't go back to avoid the Jets and Parcells. He went back because Parcells refused to promise him that he would take him with that first overall pick.
A little fact that people tend to forget... It's not as sensationalist as Manning didn't want to play for the Jets
Wow. Very interesting. I never heard that before. Are you sure that's true? That would make me like Peyton even more. I always liked him but kept that in the back of my mind which knocked him down a notch to me. I remember reading that if the Jets were taking him he'd be going back to school

Darnold is who I hope falls to us. I hope Cleveland takes OU child. I hope NYG takes Rosen. I hope Denver gets a QB in FA. Or I wouldn't mind a trade up for Darnold.
The Browns and Rosen have both stated that they have no interest in each other BUT, the Browns are strongly considering Darnold. These are the QBs that have at this time declared for the draft Jackson, Mayfield, Rosen, Allen, Rudolph, Ferguson, and Falk. Guess you'll have to choose your next best and hope for him to be there.
