Following their second straight 5-11 season, the Jets are not increasing ticket prices. In some instances they are lowering them.

The average ticket will decrease by 11 percent this year. More than half of the tickets at MetLife Stadium will decrease in price for 2018, with the other prices remaining flat. The Jets are also offering a two-year freeze on ticket prices – meaning they will remain the same in 2019 – for fans who order their tickets by March 1 and enroll in an automatic payment plan. The 2019 home schedule will include opponents who draw well like the Giants, Steelers and Cowboys.

In 2018, the Jets play the following teams at home: the Patriots, Bills, Dolphins, Packers, Vikings, Colts, Texans and Broncos.

The Jets also announced they are going to have tickets available in the mezzanine level that don’t’ require the dreaded personal seat licenses (PSL). When MetLife opened in 2010, the Jets required PSLs for all seats except those in the upper deck. Current PSL holders in the mezzanine section will have the ability to upgrade to lower-level seats with no additional PSL charge. They also would maintain benefits that new non-PSL season-ticket holders would not get.

Mo best decision I made was not paying my psl invoice and renewing my tickets. I get to choose which games to go to and if they suck, they don’t take my money. Season tickets will be a thing of the past.

Question, have you had any issues with the organization regarding your PSL. I'm asking because my son has been threatened with legal action for failing to pay his.

No. no issues at all. actually, i asked that exact question to my rep and she just said that nothing will happen to you but the jets have the right to come after you if they want. But as of right now they are not going after anyone. I dont think they will. It will be a PR nightmare for them and the NFL if they do start to suit their own fans.

Who and how did they threaten him with legal action? Was it his ticket rep? I even reached out to my old rep who left the jets. He somehow friended me on linkedin and we spoke about it and he said i had nothing to worry about. I wanted to get his opinion as an insider.

He received a letter from the orginization threatening legal action for breach of contract if he doesn't pay the PSL and tickets. I'll have to get the specifics from him but from what I remember, the said they would pursue advance payment for future PSL fees and tickets at an accelerated rate.

Elias I agree. Now I paid in full but i just stopped buying the season tickets. Maybe they will have to pay us to go to games someday lol Too many night games & 4:00 games with kids this is no fun
