I heard that today on Michael Kay, thats why I had zero intentions of watching this piece of garbage.
Just proved how shitty the Jets organization really was/is still.

Kind of breaks my heart to see what Parcells said. Always thought he was the Jets' best coach. I guess he still is, but now I can't even like the guy anymore.

That was really the only time I thought we had a chance at a SB. Even our two years with Rex Ryan always seemed like fools gold to me.
I still like Parcells. I will always hate Belichick and he will always be a cheater to me.
I understand your point on Belichick, but you can't take anything away from him. He is a great Defensive genius. He is also not the only coach who cheated. There were many others. He just got caught. I too dislike him and always will.
Not sure why you guys hate Parcells after this. They didn't want to go in the Jets locker room because they just ended the interview on a good note and going in the Jets locker room would just be a reminder of where the whole feud/non feud started. It was nothing against the Jets.
Couple points I took from this:
1. i was glad to see belichick admit that he learned everything he knew from Parcells.
2. I almost feel sorry for belichick in that they kept talking about how he has no friends. specifically when kraft said that Parcells wanted him to talk with belichick and Parcells said " he's not going to be a guy you want to hang out with or be friends with but he is a good coach " belichick probably really has no life other then football. he spends all his time coaching or looking for loop holes in the rule book and of course studying illegal video tapes
3. The other thing I liked , and it's a point I always make, is when Pepper Johnson or Bryan Cox, I forget who, made the point that belichick wasn't going to cleveland, he was going to a patriot team that had a core of Parcells guys already in place. The point that i also make is that 1 year later when Al Groh left the Jets belichick picked up just about a dozen more Parcells guys from the Jets. So the whole thing started with belichick combining 2 teams worth of Parcells guys.
I'll give belichick credit for keeping it going all these years but without the Parcells guys to start it, it may never have happened
I still can't tolerate the cheating. It's one thing to find loop holes in the rules, or even to look across the field and try and steal a signal that way, but this dressing guys in NFL Films sweatshirts to film other teams is going to far. Because of that belichick disgusts me As a person, I feel sorry for the guy because he doesn't care about anything else in life but winning. I don't feel sorry for him for winning all the superbowls from today until he retires though.
If Parcells can hang out with the guy after what he did then I might even soften my opinion of the big cheater.
And Parcells is the greatest coach the Jets ever had. He has a personality that obviously belichick lacks and thats what made him the best. and if you ever watched the special about Curtis Martin and his relationship with Parcells you have to love the guy

I agree but this actually softened my hatred of belichick a little. Hate to admit it.

Did ESPN ask permission of the Jets to invite Belichick into their locker room? If so, and the Jets said yes, shame on the Jets. If so, and the Jets said no, or if they didn't ask, shame on ESPN. Either way, I do not want that cheater anywhere near the Jets' locker room.
Good point. And now the cheetahs are tied for most superbowl losses.
That's another good point. He's the last guy that should be allowed in any other locker room.
