Trading up to #4 and taking Sanchez was not a bold move.

Picking Hackenberg in the 2nd Rd was not a bold move.

So picking Mayfield at #3 is a bold move.

What does this show? The Jets bold moves have turned out to be Crap!!

Lets take a safe move and take either Rosen or Darnold!

I believe the trade up for Sanchez was bold. Tannenbaum traded away players and picks to move up for a one year starter who’s stock was high at the time of the draft.

And Macc already made the bold move by trading up for the #3 pick. He traded 3 high draft picks and now has to get this pick right to keep working as GM for the Jets long term.

I’d say that’s pretty bold.

My point being is that drafting Mayfield would not be a Bold move.

Baker Mayfield threw 83 TDS on 762 attempts. Equal to 1 TD per 9.2 pass attempts. That in itself is extremely impressive.

Its really impressive in college. Just draft Chubb and have an elite defense. None of these QB's are can't miss.

Bold indeed, because none of these QBs are a sure thing.

This is going to be extremely interesting and exciting for a jets fan, but I'm also scared as hell. I have great respect for Cosell's opinion, because he really puts in the work and is smart. When Cosell talks about each of these 4 QBs, he gives you some very good reasons to stay away, and in particular Josh Allen. I hope like hell we don't pick Allen. Who'd a thought that Darnold would also be a bit of a dangerous pick, but clearly a guy who is salvageable. Sounds as though it comes down to Rosen and Mayfield as his top two. I may be misreading Cosell, but reading between the lines it sounds as though Mayfield is his top guy. April 26 can't come fast enough.

wow!! & i thought i wanted to cut bait with this regime..

maccagnan would get fired before he finalized the pick, & rightfully so..

Probably so, but we have needed a pass rush about as long as a QB. I just don't want to settle for their 2nd or 3rd choice which is what they will be doing.
