That price is a kings ransom compared to what we paid. I mean thats practically a Hershel Walker or Ricky Williams deal, where they are selling the farm and all of the animals and all of the hay and all of the fruits & vegetables, then selling their wives and daughters into sex slavery too. That tells you how much they were counting on a deal with the Colts and how hard it hit them when the Jets trade went down. Without a doubt Mac beat them to the punch with a kick in the stomach.

If they wanna give up that much, I love three QB's enough where I welcome them selling the farm to get one spot ahead of us.

... and this doesn't even account for the fact that they already traded their elite LT (Glenn) to put themselves in a position to sell the rest of the farm, and family. LOL

If they wanna do this, go right ahead, it will take them forever to build a team around their QB, in the meantime I'll be perfectly happy with Mayfield, Allen or Darnold, heck even Rosen, but at worst I know we'll still have two of the four to choose from.

Plus, i think they are targeting Allen...and I think Allen is Mac's 3rd choice after Rosen and Mayfield... and that is assuming Darnold goes #1

This trade will totally help the Jets..... Let Buffalo go up and take Allen like it's rumored they are. Out of the top 4 he is the 4th guy I'd want the Jets to take... So get him off the board.

I agree 100%. If the Bills trade up and take Allen, it would be a Godsend.
Allen is the last QB i want as well.
Darnold is #1,Then Rosen although the concussions scare me, then Mayfield. I don't want Allen at all, i just feel he is going to bust, don't know why, just do.
Then, i want Bridgewater to win the starting job weekl 1and play lights out. Then, come the offseason, if the drafted QB shows that he has it and canbe a franchise type QB, you designate Bridgewater or tag him and recoup some draft capital. If nothing else, he walks and the Jets receive a compensatory pick.
While i'm dreaming, let's have Hackenberg come to camp and finally turn it around and show he can at least be a servicable back up.

That's not a dream. That's a nightmare. He has shown that he might not even be a serviceable paper weight or doorstop.

Wow, that is a king's ransom. The Bills obviously have their sights set of a QB, too. The thing is, I believe the Giants could take Saquon Barkley. They can find Eli's eventual replacement in next year's draft, which has some good QB's. That would be ideal, leaving the Jets with one of the three QB's to choose from. But if the Bills move in there via trade, you can guarantee that the first two picks will be QB's, leaving the Jets with probably Allen and Mayfield. The best QB's are Darnold and Rosen, and also the safest, IMO. If the Bills took Allen, then that's another story. But Mayfield is really the only one that i'm hesitant about. I'd be happy with any of the other three.

I would be very surprised if the Jets took Mayfield at #3, especially over Rosen. I'd be disappointed with that pick.

Personally, I don't see any chance at all that the Bills move ahead of us in the draft. Browns giving up number one to them would be way to costly for the Bills. Giants have scheduled visits from at least eight quarterbacks that I know of and why would they do that if they weren't seriously considering taking one ? You may be right but the Giants would have to be willing to pass on the QB they are interested in so the price might be even higher than you think and if the Jets think they are close to a deal there they might have to deal with the Browns to get the guy they are after. It's going to be interesting to say the least.

For the Bills to get to #2, they may have to do a "Draft Day" trade of 4 1st Rd picks to be able to go after the likes of QB Bo Callahan.
