i like the signing, but the bolded is troubling to me..
maccagnan tends to miss on college kids but then does a nice job of scraping & raking up bargain bin proven NFL talent..
hell, we just finished drafting 3rd & 4th round WRs who could barely get snaps..
our two must productive WRs are a guy idzik drafted & a maccagnan undrafted FA..
production is production unfortunately finding the right puzzle pieces to complete the final picture is tricky...
Q. first couple season was irrelevant then he chose to make something from nothing... There is that similar style grit that Kearse brings to the table, which will allow us to create match up problems for some defenses, assuming Q. is back from his injury... Either way these two will lead this group and bring that toughness that we have been sorely missing...
Stewart, it wasn't his fault every time he saw the field, we ran the ball last season... But he did show some intangibles as a returner... His mold is similar to Q's but we need him to take the next step and become a contributor on offense...
Hansen came on late in the season basically in mop up duty gaining some experience and expect to see more of a solid contributor moving forward...
Bringing in Pryor on a 1 year was smart, someone who at worst could replace the missing play making ability if RA gets suspended...
Question Mark: if we sign Hurns great but if we don't it will open the door for one or two players to have a chance at making the roster... Leading candidates would be Lucky and Stringfellow... Think the others have out stayed their welcome... One or two may land on the practice squad that is a big if there...
