So every day or two I'm going to post a poll and let the forum vote on each of the top three picks.

Please DO NOT vote to orchestrate a particular result for the Jets.

Vote for the players you sincerely believe the teams (not you) will select with these picks.

Then I'll post a poll for the Jets based on whats left and the most likely options as I see it.

Sam Darnold was overwhelmingly chosen by YOU, the JFU community, as the #1 Pick to Cleveland.

1. BROWNS - Sam Darnold, QB, USC

This second poll is for the NY Giants at #2 Overall.

I voted Chubb. He’s by far the best pass rusher in this draft. A complete player, good character. Checks all the boxes. Saquon is a good idea for them too, though.

I voted Barkley because they have to fix their running game for Eli's benefit.

I voted Barkley. I know the Giants have had good RB in the past( not recent) they’ve never had a back the caliber of Barkley or perceived caliber.
They can get their OG with their top 2 nd.
The offense with a rebuilt left side. OBJ, 2nd yr for that TE, Shepherd, shit even Marshall is still there. Barkley can catapult them right back to the playoffs.
Which is where they thought they would be last year.

So did I. If Barkley is what I think he is, its conceivable that this pick could give Eli BOTH, the best WR and the best RB in football. Thats something every QB fantasizes about, but the Giants have a chance to make it a reality ... the question is, how much do they believe Eli has left in the tank?

If they believe he can still be a winning QB in this league if you put the right pieces around him, Barkley is the pick. IF NOT, they'll take one of the QB's.

If Darnold slips by Cleveland, i believe he is the Giants pick. If not, they go Barkley.

The more I think about it, the more it makes sense to me that Cleveland will take Barkley #1. The dominoes would be the Giants then selecting Darnold and Jets taking Rosen, That leaves the Browns with perhaps their top choice, Josh Allen. Home run for them, provided he doesn't bust. To me this is the most fascinating drat in a long time, maybe because we are in the thick of the intrigue. Can't wait for April 26!

You're right, I don't know nor does anyone else except maybe the Browns, but I just think that he might make a ton of sense for them. Highest upside, bad-weather ready, and with Taylor in the fold he can sit for a year to get ready. Add Barkley to the mix, and he walks into a situation with a stud RB.

I can't remember the show on NFL network, but they were saying that Josh Allen is the kind of QB that GM Dorsey covets. Big, strong armed QB with athleticism, the ability to run. FWIW.
Who knows, but if the Jets feel confident rolling the dice and getting the third QB in the draft, why can't/wont the Browns feel comfortable doing the same thing, plus adding an absolute stud RB that will only help, immensely, the QB that is drafted.

Yeah, I think it’s plausible. If the Browns are completely happy getting any of their top 3 rated QB’s, then Barkley should be the #1 pick. He’s the best player in this draft.

Bu if they really like Darnold or Allen the most, you’ve gotta pull the trigger. The Browns need to stop trading down and away from FQB’s. The message you’d be sending the fans is “we got Saquon Barkley! And then we got a QB we feel pretty good about, even though we loved (insert player) the most”. The QB position is still the most important position in football.
