I could see a late pick being offered for Petty. He has experience, looked good at times, awful at others , but he is cheap. A team who needs a second or 3 rd string QB is going to pay a FA a couple Mill and that player likely has less expeeexper. Two teams actually tried to aquire him last season.

if anything the Jets could get a late 5th for Petty & our 6th, if a trade does go down... the other option is to acquire that 6th from a team but would be a (2019 pick), straight up for Petty...
