Lets say the Jets have only one or two they really want....................the other two or three they don't feel good about.

The first two teams take the ones they want...what should mac do? I say he should do what he feels is right not take a certain qb because it looks good to the fans. So if the B man is there take the RB or edge rusher if he must. Not easy.

That being said if the Jets always pick the wrong one maybe he should pick the one he does not want:global (37):

Well since we always make bad picks in the second round, we made sure to get rid of all our second round picks.

and since we can never draft a franchise qb we clearly will not bother drafting a qb with our #3 pick

And since the cheetahs will be representing the afc in the superbowl again this year, there is clearly no reason for the Jets to show up at all this season.

if this is how the jets feel, then they took a huge gamble trading up to the #3 spot. so my guess is they feel good on at least 3 of the QB

I do like Rosen, Darnold, Allen, Mayfield in that order. If the Jets bypass everyone for Mayfield, I'll be upset but I'll support him as our QB.

I can't see them trading up for a RB or DE, but this is the Jets. I wouldn't be surprised this being the Jets that they like Mayfield, Allen, Jackson.

If there is really only one or two QBs Mac feels comfortable with, he should trade back, adding a boatload of picks. Three is too rich for any RB, especially when you throw the 3 additional second round picks into the equation. Chubb is a better fit for a 4-3.
It's likely going to be QB or bust unless Mac finds his inner Costner, gets a ton of picks and David Putney in return.

I guess that if we pick the third best Qb on the jets board....well maybe we are better off lol...


But if we really feel that three & four are not that good & we like another less popular qb from this draft do we trade down at that point & take another Qb later.

If it were me I would take what i feel is the best qb be it first round or third. Hell with the job do what is best.
