Do we dare try to put a package together to offer the Broncos for that 5th?

How can we, simple offer the next 2 first rounders (2019 & 2020) along with third this year, third next year along with a player or three...

The real question if that is a possible that John Elway would go for it? I mean on paper he would be stock piling for the future and why would we do it?

Say if Browns take Josh Allen, Giants then go Sam Darnold, we take Baker Mayfield then Browns sell the 4th overall to someone like the Bills who would take Rosen, then...

Saquon Barkley at 5 would be an awesome draft for us, highly unlikely but just putting this out there for debate...

I just don't see the team having the ammo. They can offer a big package like that, but that would be two in the same draft, and would empty the cupboard for the next several years.

I think its more likely that we trade down from 3 to 5 and recoup an early 2nd RD Pick (#40 Overall) from Denver, which is a perfect value chart trade.

If the Broncos love Allen's ceiling, with Keenum buying him time, maybe they give us their Comp 3 (#99 Overall) or early 4 (#106 Overall) too.

Definitely a big net loss, so doubtful it happens unless the Broncos really overpay, but I hate being out of the sound round.

Wow. This reminds me of what the Vikings did to get Herschel Walker. Killed them for years. Really don't like bundling picks, ever. Especially when it involves drafts from future years.
