Indy better draft Guice or they are idiots. Well their idiots but they do need oline help so I guess it works.

Colts take the best Guard in Nelson with our 6th overall..

then they take Braden Smith Guard from Auburn with our 37th overall...

Damn they just upgraded the interior line for Andrew Luck...

Hope someone is stupid enough to take Petty off our hands and a late round pick so we can move up into the second. Same thing with Hackenberg and a late round picked for a higher pick but I doubt either will happen.

Hackenberg is not on the table, only Petty... From what I heard...

I’d say so. I would have gone with Guice with one of those second round picks but I can understand the oline man as well.

Is Guice not as good as I think? The Bucs took a RB from USC instead of Guice.

Don’t understand why not? Are we going to carry four QBs now with Darnold, McCown, Bridgewater and Hackenberg?

Josh McCown, Christian Hackenberg & Sam Darnold...

Teddy Bridgewater is doubtful to make it out of camp if he lasts that long...

So who was telling the truth? The NFL under its habitually lying commissioner Roger Goodell? Or former LSU tailback Derrius Guice?

I'm going with Guice over Goodell's goons, thank you very much. But in the end on Thursday night, Guice lost and fell out of the first round of the NFL Draft amid mysterious, unspecified and inaccurate characterizations of his character, even though he was at AT&T Stadium for the festivities in Arlington, Texas, as he was invited before the unfounded rumors started.

Guice, a rambunctious, capricious and sometimes silly, but great kid of 20 years old, said in March on the "Late Hits" Sirius XM radio show that a representative of a NFL team said the following to him at the Scouting Combine in Indianapolis, Indiana, in February:

"Hey, I heard your mom sells herself. How do you feel about that?"

Guice also said another team asked him if he liked men.

“The investigation did not confirm that any club made the reported inquiries,” NFL spokesperson Brian McCarthy said in an email to USA Today Sports. “Nonetheless, we used this opportunity to reaffirm our workplace standards and emphasize the importance of fully complying with all requirements of federal and state law. The NFL and each of its member clubs remain fully committed to fair and non-discriminatory employment practices.”

Courtland to the Broncos I’m sure pisses the Cowboys off. I’m sure they were looking at him with the release of Dez.

I heard the TB interview on the Steven A Smith show on ESPN and he said they will be looking for a RB, WR and oline or dline help I believe.

Nice TE to the Dolphins. Looks real good by his highlights. Did that SMU tight end go off the board yet??? I thought they were saying he was the best TE in the draft or am I confusing this information with the SMU WR that just got drafted?

Lions pick a RB but not Guice? Wow, maybe he is not as good as I thought or are these teams stupid?

“That injury may take some time to fully recover from,” Maccagnan said at the NFL Annual Meeting on Monday. “Any player you sign in free agency, there’s a bit of a reward-risk aspect to it. But we thought in particularly with him, we can help him regain his previous form that he showed earlier in his career where he was a very good young quarterback.”

“Everything has led us to believe that he not only does he have a chance to do that,” Maccagnan continued, “But when you really get to know (him)… from a character, work-ethic standpoint, he’s a guy that we’d like to take the bet on and see what he can do.”

Bridgewater, who signed a one-year deal that effectively guarantees him nothing other than $1 million ($500K signing bonus and $500K workout bonus) and a training camp/preseason audition, told reporters last week that he was “not comfortable” about the status of his knee.
