The Jets are worse than an 0-16 Browns team? And they’re worse than the 3-13 Giants, the 5-11 Bucs, Broncos, and Bears, and the 4-12 Colts and Texans?

Sounds like somebody over at Madden doesn’t like the Jets too much. Probably someone wearing a Tom Brady jersey.

Never was much of a Madden Fan,even less now. He obviously didn't pay much attention to the win loss records of more than a couple teams that were favorite on his list.

I don't play Madden either but aren't these ratings the projection for NEXT season rather than a simple reflection of last year's records? Some of those teams with worse records than the Jets have had big off-seasons so far, at least looking at it today. The Jets have bet the farm on Darnold (who may be red-shirted for next year) and compared with the Giants have done little elsewhere,

As for the guy with the Brady shirt, the season doesn't start for him until the Divisional Champ round of the playoffs after the automatic AFC East.

I’m not going to say the Jets will be drastically better than last season, but they also made some additions this offseason that should make the team better. With TJ at CB, the secondary should be very good. Avery Williamson wasn’t too bad of a pickup. The o-line got better at Center and now has a healthy Brian Winters. We got younger with Crowell and replaced the aging Forte.

A deep QB group of McCown coming off one of his best years, Teddy Bridgewater, and maybe even Darnold plays.

Worst team in the NFL? I’d bet against that.

The ratings are updated weekly. They don't reflect the new players yet. They will be updated during camp and preseason.
im fine with the media underestimating the team. The players used it as motivation last season and I am sure they will again this season.
