When Belichick left the jets, he went to a cheater team that still has a lot of Parcells guys left who knew how to win and knew the system, plus he took a good amount of our coaching staff with them. The first year they stunk. 5 wins? Year 2, Al Groh leaves and the rest of our Jet team that Parcells had built get picked up by Belichick. About a dozen former Jets if I remember correctly. Now Belichick has 2 Parcells teams in One . Plus he's smart, plus he starts the elaborate system of video taping other teams signals and practices.

they catch lightning in a bottle when they beat the Raiders with the worst call ever, the tuck rule. They go on to win that Superbowl as underdogs and the next year they still get no credit from anyone so they get to play with a chip on their shoulder. They keep winning and winning and winning. Winning breads more winning and a winning attitude. Just like losing has the opposite effect for teams like our Jet?.

now they are a team that everyone wants to play for and because they win , new guys change their ways and do what Belichick says?? and they go there for cheap because they know that at worst they will lose the acc championship game. At best, they win the superbowl.

until this system fails for a couple seasons, this will just keep on going and going like the energizer????? bunny. Why would it not as long as the players believe in it and they are it work. Sure guys will leave for more money but new guys will be waiting in line to replace them for that shot at a Superbowl ring.

and anyone who wants to say when Brady leaves it will change? Maybe it will but remember this, without brady, Cassel went 11-5. Without Brady found 2 they started 3-1 with the loss being by 3rd string qb. That's a combined 14-6 without brady.

If we did, we would be sacrificing our basic goodness.

If we didn't, we'd be diminishing our team's accomplishments.

Personally, I'd rather have one or two untainted titles than a bunch with asterisks.

I wouldn't. But if it happened I would admit to the cheating but probably I would still enjoy the constant winning. I 'd be sad about the asterisks but happy with the rings. Probably just say, heck, it's still a Superbowl win either way. If argue that even with the cheating, you still have to be pretty good to win the games. Which is true?

but I wouldn't deny the cheating. You really can't at least for spyware , because they were not only caught ,but admitted it. How can you argue that? Of course it's hard to argue the deflated too, when you have a guy texting calling himself the deflator

Still would not like Brady cause he's an arrogant, smug cry baby. And you can believe that because I'm not a big Revis fan, even though he's one of the greatest Jets, because he sold his soul for a ring

one more point. If Belichick stayed, we wouldn't have needed to draft brady. Any QB works in the system. Then again without Parcells????? guys from the Patriots to combine with the Jets maybe Belichick isn't belichick. no, I guess He would have still won here. The system was already in place.

Here's an interesting point. Living here in New England, it's not too surprising my doctor is a Pat fan. But here's what's interesting: He says he liked the Pats better when they were losers. Says he's lost interest in them since they win so much. He says he liked it better when he could throw things at the TV. Go figure.
