One thing for sure it's never easy being a Jet fan. We get super lucky to get Darnold and he's a holdout. UGH!

Have no idea why this an issue at this point. This should have been resolved two weeks before training camp began. I'm not sure which side is to blame, and frankly could care less. The bottom line is he needs to be in camp because he is missing a significant number of reps and the installation of the offense. They just need to get it done and get Darnold in camp today.

schefter reporting that the jets and darnold are expected to reach and deal and darnold will report to camp today. hopefully this is accurate and they put the issue in the past and darnold gets to work

Valuable, but minimal. I agree about the negotiations, as this should not happen with the current CBA. But let's not make a couple practices out to be more than they are.

Agents refuse to even begin talks until days before camp open with top picks. They want to see what other agents negotiate before going to the table. They fear that they will miss on a concession given another player and that will make that agent more attractive to next year's class. It's the nature of the league and has been for years.

He missed 3 practices and some people act like it’s such a big deal, something that’s potentially going to set him and the franchise back.

The latest reports from Mr. Sour Puss himself Manish Mehta are that Darnold looks fantastic. He’s showing decision making ability with the football rarely seen in most rookies.

Cheetah nation made a big deal over Brady skipping mini camp. Anyone think that hurt anything in cheetah land in any way. If they think Brady missing a few days is bad imagine what a big deal it is for a new kid who hasn't played a down yet to miss the first 3 days of practice.
