Per Todd Bowles:

Crowell is being tested for a concussion. Fingers crossed there.

Herndon has a couple of bruises from the last practice. Not sure where. Bowles didn’t elaborate.

Skrine injured himself on a kickoff apparently. A shoulder. Sounds like a stinger.

The one that looked worst of all was the ankle injury TE Neal Sterling sustained.

He was having a terrific game too, then went limping off after converting on 3rd down.

Neal Sterling is a walking injury waiting to happen...

He always was a solid receiving option, but his blocking was always the questionable part of his game...

If anything he will not play at Washington to get rest but should be ready to go against the Giants at least with the first team...

As for Crowell, he will be fine this guy has that intensity style to his game and expect a few more bruises throughout the season...

Skrine's injury could of been worse looked an accordion getting squeezed in half, he needs to be more aware of his surroundings because he is intricacy to the nickel position, and was playing very well there in his limited action...

As for players injured prior to this first game not worried about them atm, but expect to see them soon...

Confirmed by Bowles: Crowell has a concussion

Thats why he was left home and didn't even make the trip to DC

What’s the typical down time for a concussion? A few weeks, a month?

This may be one of the least predictable injuries. It could be a week, it could be a month or longer, depending on the severity. There is also the question of his concussion past. Each subsequent concussion makes the situation worse.

Not a good sign, he's participated in only a few plays for the Jets and already he is concussed.

Terrelle Pryor said it's a "miracle" he's able to play football only three months after his second ankle surgery in less than a year -- the latest of which was more serious than the team let on.

Pryor revealed Monday his surgery in May was to repair a fracture; it was initially reported as a routine cleanup from ligament surgery last fall. He's back practicing, but he said he won't play Thursday night against his former team, the Washington Redskins -- which some might view as a convenient absence.

Bowles ripped Pryor for speaking about the extent of the injury publicly. He said “keep your mouth shut and let me do the talking about injuries”.

And the Redskins practice was amped up today. They were yelling at Pryor all day long.

Tough week for TP. He can’t wait to get out of Richmond.
