One thing I will say that is opposite of trading Teddy B is don’t do it unless Darnold is 100% the future and 100% ready now. We’ve waited for a FQB for so long and I don’t want to trade away one if the other isn’t going to be able to handle it. I’ve wanted Darnold for 2 years and want him to work out, but I don’t care who leads the Jets as long as it’s to a SB. We have the money to keep 2 QB’s, but we will lose Teddy for nothing. That’s another issue with Mac. He should have locked him up for two years. He is not a horrible GM, but he is not a good one either.
Very true. I’m good with either QB leading us just pick the right one and protect him so he can actually lead us to some real winning. Darnold isn’t going to be 100 percent as a rookie. I don’t think any QB rookie would but if they see him as 75 percent, then that should be good enough and he can learn as he goes.
