That's pretty daring of you Blindside to be 100% sure of anything about this team at this time. I admire your guts and confidence. I do agree though that the secondary will probably get better. I am far more concerned with special teams play and the penalties and ludicrous was being nice.

This team isn’t good enough to survive 10 penalties for over 100 yards. Motion penalties are the most unforgivable ones. That’s just poor discipline.

Special Teams coach Boyer better have gotten real nasty with his unit after that shit show. That unit looks shaky to me. I’m officially most worried about the ST.

You're right. The secondary was supposed to be the strength of the defense this season and that is the reason I sound disappointed in them, especially with the addition of Johnson.

I think people are expecting too much from Johnson. He was the top FA CB, but is far from the top CB in the league. He probably ranks somewhere between 12 and 15, In fact I think his PFF rank was 68th last season. That Rams D had QBs under pressure, throwing off platform, under duress constantly. That makes things much easier for the DBs. Through 3 games, the D has not given up a TD, If we had a legit pass rush, The DBs would be exponentially better.

We can only hope, but I believe there's a good chance, no guarantees. that our defense this year won't shame us, UNLESS, it's penalties.
