Was switching back and forth between Giants and Cheetahs games. When Fournette went out I said to my wife wanna bet he's out next week and Jacksonville plays the cheetahs next week. And when I checked, they do play each other next week.?
each time I switched to the cheetahs game I saw Brady standing by himself waiting for someone , usually gronk, to be wide open. That's normal. What's less normal is that their defense is a lot better. Even the least used man on the team, a guy who may only play one snap a game, lands a punt 2 inches from the goal line in the last minute. No one can do wrong on that team. I know it's only week one but I'm saying it now. The afc stinks and the nfc is playing for the right to stop the cheetahs from being 19-0.
Maybe Darnold stops them in the last game. That would be great. That's my wishful thinking.
As for the topic of the post. That was a great run. But what we saw in that game was one of the better afc teams struggling with one of the lesser nfc teams. Yes the Giants have some very good players but in the nfc, they are middle of the pack at best. If they were in the afc, they would have a great shot at second best
Nate Solder so far looks like the latest cheetah to leave for big bucks and suck. of course Brady is so great that his greatness causes left tackles to play like superstars while Eli who is one of 5 players ever to be Superbowl mvp twice is not worthy of getting good protection
This season , for me , is watching the cheetahs go to the superbowl again and watching our Jets and hoping to God that we finally have the best qb in football and that he gets to that point in time to knock off Belichick and Brady's crowns while they are still playing football
