Paradis said in an interview the other day that he wants to play for a winning team, as he’s always been on a winner, that’s all he knows. I don’t know how he perceives the Jets coming off a bad year, but maybe he’s watching the FA moves and he’s encouraged by what the team is doing.

I appreciate the run Mac is making at him, but if he doesn't want to be here then see ya later. Coleman with a good OL can do most of what Bell can at almost half the price and way less mileage. Mac apparently gave him a deadline. I hope he sticks to it and just moves on.

My thoughts exactly. Make him your best offer and tell him to shit or get off the pot. Times a wasting and good players are getting gobbled up. We need to go after Coleman if he's not serious about coming here. Gives us more money to spend as well.

I would not greatly overpay for Bell. Nor for anyone else for that matter. Cheatahs never break that rule and that is who we want to be like. The Jets will probably make the highest offer but if he doesn't really want to come here he will settle for less or just not play. I don't truly believe that any team is going to meet his demands. So, if he's using the Jets for leverage and Mac sticks to his deadline to accept the offer he'll be losing that leverage by 4 PM tomorrow when the league year officially starts and contracts become official.
