You know who else drafts poorly and trades great? The Patriots. They load up with picks and get a lot of players, but their actual drafting isn't exactly stellar.
2nd round pick and Jermaine Kearse for Sheldon Richardson
7th round pick for Henry Anderson
Moving up with 2nd round picks for FQB Sam Darnold.
Kelechi Osmele for a bowl of peanuts.

this is a good point that I don't think has ever been made here. they do have the ability to bring in anyone who's been around a while, is aching for a ring and willing to play for peanuts, but they don't draft very well for sure. Of course anyone who wants that ring will happily play there for a year. part of what makes them what they are
Those are basically Mac's only highlights. Hopefully Williams and Gase will make the picks.
The Fitz and Brandon Marshall deals were also on the cheap, and made them a 10-win team in 2015 at minimal cost.

Oh, and while people may not give Macc credit for the guys who fell in his lap, he did draft Adams, Leo, and Darnold. He could have chosen other guys in those spots. Imagine if he had chosen Rosen over Darnold, and were looking at trying to deal him for a third one year later.
I would call getting Chris Herndon in the 4th RD a highlight.
One of his only draft pick highlights that didn't fall in his lap.
And Robby Anderson was an undrafted FA.
Back to the line talk, word is Stefen Wisniewski is getting cut by Philly. I don't know if he is starter material, but at 29, he could be a very good depth guy inside. I wouldn't want him if it meant not landing Paradis or Moore, but for depth, yes.
Another player who been hurt, flirting with 30 and costs 10 million per year. Maybe we can sign Anthony Munoz or Jerry Kramer (he's only 70)
The guy missed 5 games last season, and all of a sudden he’s got injury concerns? He’s been durable for most of his career, mauling people and making pro bowls.

One good thing about this trade is Osemele is a road grader. And Beachum was Bell's LT from 2013-15 where he had 5.7 ypc to the left side. We still need a center IMO.
I wouldn't laugh, but I'd look more for depth rather than a potential starter.
