I live outside of Baltimore and amongst mostly Ravens fans and they are all pissed that he is no longer with them, but have nothing but great things to say about him. Interested to see how the dominoes fall now starting with perhaps trading Lee and where we go in the draft. Add Q Williams to Barr, Mosely, Williams and Adams and we have the foundation of an awesome defense.
I love acquiring good players (Mosley and Barr). I'm now thinking we are locked into the 3-4 defense with our LB's being Jenkins, Williamson, Mosley and Barr. That's a stout bunch but not really a notable pass rusher among them. If we draft Josh Allen than we have Jenkins and Lee on the bench. Assuming one or both get traded. Don't think we can draft Quinnen Williams being he's a 4-3 DT and not a NT. Just trying to figure out the Jets thinking. Mosley is a great addition. Leadership.
WOW, two great signings of Mosely and Barr! Will they have enough money to sign L. Bell or are they going after him at all now? Also, does this mean or what does it mean for the draft? Is this edge rusher thing now still a priority or is the trade aspect more in effect?

barr was a great edge rusher in college. he was miscast in minny's 4-3 D as an OLB but his natural position is 3-4 backer. he still played at a high level despite not being his ideal position, which speaks to his talent
We are absolutely killing it. CJ Moseley is a great player. Our LB’s are going to be awesome. The report from Mehta is true: bye bye Darron Lee. Nowhere for him anymore.

Hey Hobbs hows it going. Been a while and hope you're doing well. . I know Barr was a great pass rusher in college but he only has 13 sack during his 5 years in the NFL. Even if he was miscast in Minnesota if he was a legit pass rusher he still should have had more than that. Not complaining with Barr but just trying to figure out where everyone would play if say they draft Josh Allen. I will say if I knew we were getting Mosely I would have spent the Barr money somewhere else. Really need Paradis...
I'm fine with the LB's we got as long as we keep our 3rd Draft pick to get that Defensive Franchise Player of Bossa or Allen! Mikey needs to keep our Pick and spend the rest of Money on Center and WR or RB. Then in 3rd round and on ,Draft some O Linemen. The Center's Jets are looking to spend big money on are all Drafted 3rd to 6th rounds. Jets can get good O Linemen 'IF" A gm knows what he is doing. But we need to keep that First Round pick knowing that we are for sure getting one of those 2 Defensive Players. Shoot, watch 49ers trade out and we get the number one ranked Player in Draft "Bossa"! Both are Big Time Team changing Players.
I think it’s way too early in the FA process to get a sense of where we might go in the draft and what our needs are. Personally, at this point, and it has been stated that the Jets will be running a 3-4 defense, and I see a huge need for a nose tackle. I’d love to see Mac trade down about four or five spots and grab Dexter Lawrence, and resign Anderson. It would be ideal if we could package Darren Lee in a trade down , and fill some of our other needs , ie Center , OL , CB.
Curious to see if Mosley actually signs with the Jets.
I cannot imagine he pulled out. It happens quite rarely, even if the Jets are the victims of it more than other teams.
Though if it did happen, at some point there would need to be some sort of change to the system, as well as an investigation into why it is only happening to one franchise.
We can all exhale on the rest of our signings, including Moseley. Everybody signed: Moseley, Crowder, Bellamy, Cantanzaro, and the Osemele trade is official.
