Helps when you're willing to give up so much for a WR.
Compare that to what the Raiders gave up for Antonio Brown.
Now watch the Giants flip the 17th Overall Pick to Arizona for Josh Rosen.
Full disclosure, I didn't think of this first, someone else posted it in another forum but it makes perfect sense.
Unless Washington is willing to part with the 15th Pick or Miami with the 13th Pick, I can see the Giants dealing 17 for Rosen.

That’s going to be a lot of decisive attitudes on the Browns. Hopefully they won’t be able to handle and it implodes in their face. Landry is an excellent player but can be a loud mouth, we already know how Beckham Jr. talent is beyond this world but he can drive a team crazy. Add salt to the wound with Mayfield’s attics. Bell is more important than OBJ and Brown - look at the steelers last year (2017) - team was amazing with bell on the field even when brown was out, flip it the other way and they just weren't close to the same level. Bell can do everything those guys do plus run like and break tackles. Not to mention he has 1 year off to rest and heel which is awesome for a RB

Don’t underestimate the importance of having a year off from the pounding a RB takes.

I didn't like what Bell said about Jets earlier, but we got the best RB in the league. We have to put an OL in front of him though. Bell is supremely talented and heeded with about half of what he said it would take to play for the Jets. He overestimated his value and the Jets were probably the only team that would go this high. He is also getting less than the Steelers offered. We should benefit from his year off.
It's good that the Giants have gotten rid of OBJ.

A good QB will change the perception of this team for Free Agents. With Darnold, the Jets are now a team on the upswing and the entire league knows it. As far as the OBJ trade - Cleveland is for real, at least for the next couple of years. They have a talented roster now. But whatever, they're beatable.
Giants will most likely not trade up for anything. If there smart they will draft Haskins at #6 and D.K. Metchalk at #17 and all there problems are solved. They now have they’re QB, they replace Beckham Jr and they also replace L. Collins with J. Peppers. This might turn out to be a smart move by the Giants after all.
