Its not bad, but I'm terrified the uniforms will be gaudy and embarrassing.
No. They went through a whole branding. This is just a minor tweak.
Well from the looks of this new logo, if it is in fact the new one it doesn't appear the Jets aren't going to add another color like black or charcoal grey to the change of the uniforms. The new logo is purely green and white!!!
According to the last thread we had on these supposed new uniform, the uniform and logo was green, black and white and the new logo was entirely different.

Please file under "Who Gives A Sh*t". Based on Woody and Mcc's track record, I'm completely confident they'll f**k this up too. As long as we win and finally start making the playoffs again, I don't care if the team begins wearing prom dresses. Nice, tasteful ones, of course.

Jets uniform is OK with me as long as it has the Original green for (St Patrick day)and white somewhere on uniforms! I never liked the lime green from 78 thru 80's. Unless they thinking Darnold is a Ken O'Brien type QB from that era. passing on Dan Marino lmao. Change to black, gray, I dont care as long as it has those 2 Original colors on the jersey. I dont want to look like a Arena League team in the NFL in lime green uni's.

I hear ya! I've been a Jets fan since 82 and unless my memory is going bad, I can't remember them ever having uniforms other than green and white. I've been begging for them to add in a third color for decades now, so we'll see what happens. I can't remember the year but my favorite uniforms were the ones where their facemask were black. The rest of the uniforms and helmet were dark forest green and white but their facemask was black. They looked real tuff that year. They played like shit but they looked tuff, lol! I also remember the year the NFL had all the teams do some type of tribute thing of wearing a third color and the Jets had a black colored jersey. I've been searching for that jersey to purchase for years now and still can't find it.
That's true. I guarantee Patriots fans think much more fondly of that ridiculous Flying Elvis now that they won with that clown on their helmets.
Since 1960, and I wouldn't mind a touch of blue and gold. But if black makes them look badass enough to strike fear in the hearts of the other team, why not?

I detest most modern uniform designs. This one I love, and not just because it's the Jets. There were some prototypes that fans made up that I absolutely hated, and they were Jets.
Yeah I liked the Black on our Jets uniforms around the neck I think with the facemasks. 82? Rough year but afterward had a hard hitting Defense! RB Freeman McNeil along with WR Tooooon and Welker and while I liked Ken O'Brien at QB, I didnt like him over Dan Marino!! That Defense with Danny at QB spelled 2 or 3 SuperBowls! 1980's JETS GM Jim Kensil should have lined up for every jets fan and players to kick him in the SACK for passing on Marino. Gm Mikey Mac and 1985 Jim Kensil are very similar drafting QB's Petty- Hackenborg and then ,FINALLY a DART LANDED ON DARNOLDS NAME! Every year Mike Muckskagnan puts names on the Dart Board and so far out of 4 Seasons we have 3 Players in top 6th pick Williams-Adams-Darnold and I think 2 are iffy Hemdon, Maye. So 3 of 28 still here and first round pick Lee gone. Mike get out the names and practice if you trade out! OR keep the 3rd and get a Franchise Player Like Kahali Mack or JJ Watt with 3rd pick getting Bossa or Allen!
