Whats the Right Pick?

Lets just say that Murray goes #1 and Q. Williams goes #2. That leaves Allen and Bosa or a trade down. If Oakland wants Bosa bad enough and would swap #4, #28, 2nd Rd pick and 5th Rd pick. Is that ample to trade back? The G-Men offer #6, #17, 2nd and 4th this year and 1st next year? If wee took Oakland swap, whats for them to trade back with the Giants.

I don’t think Oakland trades up with the Jets. They’re only one pick behind us, and will take their chances on getting a very good player at #4.

I believe the Giants are a more realistic trade partner. They would actually be ideal for a trade if we secured the #6 pick and more. If we got back some high picks from them, I’d be 100% on board.

To your original point, if Murray and Q are 1-2, and we make the pick at #3, it’s Josh Allen all day long. I wouldn’t piss and moan over Bosa, but Allen is the better fit.

If the Jets trade back with the Giants being at #6 there is a slim possibility that Josh Allen could fall into their laps at #6. If The Bucs trade down with a team wanting Lock, so it could be #1 Murray, #2 Q. Williams, #3 Bosa, #4 Haskins, #5 Lock, #6 Allen, its possible. We had Williams and Adams slide to us. Maybe Allen too. Really depends what the 49ers and Bucs do.

My guess is that the tea leaves are probably saying that the Jets aren't wining and dining a player almost certain to be gone by the second pick.

Trade down, but not too far (#8/Lions at the latest), and draft LT Andre Dillard. I know, easier said than done. If there are no offers that makes sense for us, then we stay put and draft whichever ER we have rated higher in the 3-4, Bosa or Allen.

I agree. A trade down has to put us in a spot that lands us the best left tackle

I rather have Josh Allen that Dillard or any other player in the draft. There should be an abundance of LT in next years draft. If not, my bad.
