Jets trying to trade down for Dillard or Jonah

Ideal scenario, if we get either player:
Trade back while staying in the top 12, land either Dilliard or JW, get a high 2nd, another mid round pick this year, and a 1st or 2nd round pick next year.
Consider me “on board” if something close to this happens.

Love it!!! Other then the Jets drafting Allen at #3, I would want them to trade down. If we can find a sucker in the top ten to give us there first for this and next year and second for this year at least then do it. Someone like the Raiders or Giants, I would want both their first this year and their second also, at the least. Draft Dillard and a edge rusher in the first round and hopefully N’Keal Harry in the second round.
It seems that Macc wants to trade down. I'm not sure that its for Dilliard or Jonah. The Jets are trying to add more picks. Who are the teams that might trade with us? Oakland, Giants and Packers have multiple 1st Rd picks. Oakland, it seems per Mayocks wants to keep their picks in the 1st Rd. So Giants and Packers are possible. Washington, Miami, Cinn, Denver are possible. Hopefully whoever it is that we can at least get next years #1 added in.

We might be able to get a 2nd this year, and a 1st next year from a team that wants a player who’s available at #3.
It doesn’t have to be two #1’s in this draft.
if Oakland really wants Haskins and believes that we are about to deal our pick to someone else who will take Haskins, I can imagine them giving us their 1st and 2nd pick to move up one slot.....and we still get whoever we would have wanted at #3.......would be great
I don't see Oakland giving up Draft picks to move up. I see them moving down to acquire more picks. As for the Jets, I see SF taking Allen instead of Bosa. So we may be inviting teams to move up for either Bosa, Haskins or Lock.
Who knows what Mayock is thinking in Oakland. The latest comments are “Derek Carr is our FQB. But we will pick another QB if we like somebody better than him”.
What a crappy situation to be in for Carr. The organization says they are committed to you, and then from the other side of their mouth they say “you’re not safe though”. Unbelievable. And they call the Jets dysfunctional.
Mike Garafalo from NFL Network is hearing that Jonah Williams’ stock is way up in the top 10. Apparently there are numerous teams in the top 10 who love him, including the Jets, Giants, Jags, and Bills. And many are all in with him as a Tackle.

He has played left tackle but many of the scouts project him more as a guard in the NFL but still a quality pick.
With the rise of interior pass rushers like Aaron Donald, teams have put more emphasis on interior line play. Can you imagine an offensive line with Osemele (KO) and Jonah Williams as the Guards?
I can see Williams start as a Guard and eventually become a good Tackle in the NFL.
He has the skill to do both.................
