Watch this video. If this happened Mac gets a lifetime contract. I don't agree with all the picks, but that many draft picks would be amazing and flip this franchise.
Oh my, I just got a woody looking at this video, LOL! That would absolutely be a Godsent if the Jets could pull off something like that. Now there are a few comments that I have:
1. Maybe it's self explanatory and that's why he did not mentioned it but the Raiders and Giants 1st rounds picks wouldn't be enough for me. They would have to give up at least two more draft picks. Even if they were 4th and 5th rounders. Now maybe he was just concentrating on the first rounders and left it at that but he gave us more the Broncos trade picks, so I wanted to comment on that.
2. The draft picks I agree with but I think we would have done better drafting the WR, N'Keal Harry somewhere in those picks. Maybe he's thinking that Harry will be gone by our second round pick but if not, then Harry would be my pick. Not saying the Georgia WR, Ridley isn't a good pick but I think Harry will be better.
3. I understand why he did not mention this because he's strictly talking about the draft but drafting this kid Burns still gives the Jets the opportunity to trade Lee. Hopefully they can get a 2nd or 3rd rounder at worst for him but that's probably wishful thinking.
Last thing is if the Jets can pull this off, that means they will be drafting 4-5 starters that are probably all blue chip players. Barring the team can stay relatively healthy, play smart and hard together, if this doesn't say playoffs this year and a very bright future to come, then I don't know what will!
