1. What is the first round of the draft , really? It's when the Jets take a high draft pick and quickly turn him into a loser. The coach and gm get blamed for this. Meanwhile the cheetahs take the 32nd pick in the draft and quickly turn him into a future hall of famer and Tom Brady gets the credit for this. While I say this to illicit a chuckle from everybody but blindside d'brick, when you think about it, it's pretty true
2. Bell not showing up for voluntaries last week is unacceptable to me
3.did anyone watch SNY 's overdraft show? Ray Lucas wanted Allen because we already have a Williams on the dline who would be made better by Allen. Ray went on to remind us that he played behind Mawae who may have been the best center ever. He then went on to say that he thinks we are good with the center we have. He thought he did a great job filling in for Long on the fly and pretty sure Ray said that he allowed no sacks

Round 2 . Sam Darnold
Round 3. Edge rusher because no o lineman of value at this pick
Round 3. Finally an o lineman. Hope he's a hero
5. I want us to have a great offensive line more than anyone, because I have watched Brady stand in one spot untouched for 20 years , but I don't want to overpay, or over reach in the draft for it. You can't sign a free agent lineman if there aren't any worth the money, or if the one that is available doesn't want to play for the Jets, just as you can't draft an offensive lineman in the 3rd round if there isn't one of 3rd round quality. Some of this has to be luck, or being in the right place at the right time.
So, all that said, while I certainly wish this process would all happen at once, I understand that it will take a while, and since we have from now until Belichick retires to figure it out, we still have some time
P.s. Looking at the acc picks early in the draft, I'm thinking a lot of teams have hitting Brady in mind. Too bad it's a 15 yard penalty
