....and these odds tell you all you need to know about the AFC East. Move on folks, nothing to see here.

6-1 seems generous odds for the Patriots since they seem to win it every other season. Perhaps the bookies think this is an 'off' year.

This is changing in the near future. We can stroke B&B all we want for the time being, but all great things come to an end eventually. The AFC East has Darnold, Allen, and maybe Rosen taking over this division within the next few years.

It’s going to tilt the other way. Mark it down.

One thing to note is that these odds imply the Jets will finish ahead of the Bills and Fins. It's at least something positive.

weren't we 400 to 1 last season? so this would be an improvement, no?

Or Stidham. Remember Belichick's remaining ambition to win Superbowls without Brady.

it is a waiting game. belichick wants to prove he can win without brady. brady wants to outlast belichick so he belichick can't prove it. the bad part for belichick is that scarnechia is really old and may not outlast brady which would make things harder for belichick

I'm actually ok with belichick winning one more without brady as long as he then retires. what the heck I'm so used to them winning it alll for the past 20 years straight, what's one more

and if anyone happens to be flying to vegas can you put $100 on the cheetahs to win the Super Bowl for me. it's worth $100 to find out if my bad luck can over ride the cheatahs good luck

would vegas actually let you bet on them winning the division? was there ever a surer thing?

He won twice with the giants. He's the best coach in my lifetime. I don't know if he cares about winning without Brady, as much as he just never wants to stop. Football is deep in his veins.

you are right that he never wants to stop, but I would bet that he doesn't want all his super bowls to be tied to brady. there are some people who think brady is the reason for all the winning more so than belichick. I have never found a patriot fan who thinks so but there are some jet fans.

belichick is damn cocky so I'm sure he wants no doubt left about who is the reason for all the superbowl wins. This may sound crazy, but I would bet on this one. There were a number of years were the patriots offense scored zillion points a game but the defense was neglected and not so good. Those years, the patriots did not win the superbowl. I would bet that belichick was out to prove that he could win a superbowl with offensive power rather than the old "defense wins championships" He failed at it for a number of years while beating everybody by 35 during the regular season but ending up home early when he came across a defensive team in the playoffs. I think he finally gave up on this when he signed Revis and Browner from the Seahawks to bolster the defense and win the superbowl that year. Since then he has put more focus on defense and less on offense and has won just about every superbowl since

and Francessa brought this up on WFAN the other day. he made some weird defensive decisions in the Eagles superbowl and gave up a zillion points to a team that shouldn't have scored a zillion points so what did he do the next year? held one of the highest powered offenses to almost no points and won the superbowl again. granted if brady could have made a catch or not fumbled the only time he was touched then they would have beaten the Eagles and won a high scoring superbowl for the first time. every superbowl win that they have had has been a close defensive win. even Atlanta where they didn't play defense in the first half, he adjusted and gave up nothing in the second half. Barely a first down. wouldn't be surprised if he spotted Atlanta just for fun, because getting in Matt Ryans head was not enough challenge for him

but he sure does eat sleep and live football. so much so that he doesn't have much of a life outside football. He doesn't even have time to hit the SPA with robert kraft. although he did find time to have an affair and get a divorce. although I think that went on during the years of offense and no defense
