Wise old owl, how many years will there be between Jet Superbowl wins? And once they finally win, will they enjoy the feeling so much that they decide to win every year?

To me, the wrong answer here, if you didn't know about order of operations would be 70.
The other mistake would be , not seeing the multiplication sign (x) since all other operations are addition, in which case you would add all 3 and get 17
not sure where these other wrong answers came from.
I was a math major for half my college career, a long, long time ago. 4 semesters of calculus was not fun
Serious Question, no sarcasm or anything of the kind. Are you Mensa?https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Order_of_operations
"For example, in mathematics and most computer languages, multiplication is granted a higher precedence than addition, and it has been this way since the introduction of modern algebraic notation.[SUP][1][/SUP][SUP][2][/SUP] Thus, the expression 2 + 3 × 4 is interpreted to have the value 2 + (3 × 4) = 14, not (2 + 3) × 4 = 20."
Thus, this problem would be 5 + (2 x 10). That would be 25.

I strongly suspected it. Its a great accomplishment. :global (45):I am in Mensa. My GRE scores got me in.
Back when GRE scores were an acceptable qualifier.

If I knew that, you'd be reading about a Mega Millions winner from southeastern Connecticut.
Just remember, if you buy into the multiverse theory, there is a universe out there where the Jets win every single game, including the Super Bowl, every single year.
Thanks, though I really didn't do anything to achieve it. I was just born this way. I did do some prep for the GREs, but mostly it was a genetics deal.
The Ph.D. in History was hard work, though. A decade of classes, exams, prospectuses (prospecti?), and the dissertation writing and defense? Massively painful.
Maybe I can land a job in the Jets' front office. I did play in both high school and college against Hymie Elhai, SVP, one of the few guys who reports directly to Chris Johnson. Perhaps he remembers me. Then again, probably not.
Sign me up for the first ship to that universe
My wife just finished her doctorate in Nursing quality. It was an insane amount of work. she Just graduated a few weeks back at UConn. She's smarter then me. I'm working on my Ph.D in beer drinking and it is also an incredible amount of work but very enjoyable. My bachelor's degree in beer drinking was much easier. I'm getting too old for it:global (10):
Sounds busy, but good for you. Getting that doctorate was a ton of hard work. Even for a mensa guy I'm betting.
We both graduated from UConn back when it was easy to get into. I was there Calhouns first year and lived in the same floor as Cliff Robinson and Phil Gambel. I was happy to be out with my bachelor's but my wife kept going for her master's and finally doctorate. It was a challenge while working and raising 3 kids but she did it. I doubt I could have
That's actually true and I know it is. It's a controversial topic most intellectuals try to avoid for a variety of reasons, mostly for how it can be misused by people with bad intentions, but I know it's a fact that IQ is largely genetic. But still, that doesn't make it any less impressive. :global (42):Thanks, though I really didn't do anything to achieve it. I was just born this way. with all due respect sack, anyone who chooses to be a jets (and mets) fan cannot be very smart
