Seems like good value for a pick that low. He's 25, was a fifth rounder by the Colts out of Temple, and he has started several games in his career, even winning the starting spot last year. I'm surprised they got someone with this much ability for this low a price.

There's something to be said for the staff that Douglas put together. He gets guys from the Ravens, Colts and the guy who ran the Senior bowl. All have first hand knowledge of potential fringe guys who may have value with the Jets. Hopefully, Harrison is an example of that.

Nice-nice move Joe! I guess us fans aren’t the only one who saw that need to trade for a CB. It ain’t Jalen Ramsey but I’ll take him. Hopefully he learns our system QUICK and can contribute come week one.

Side note: I told you guys they would make a move at CB. Guess my 10 win prediction season is starting to better and better!

Yeah this guy ain't bringing the win total any higher. Only Darnold can do that. Basically just depth.

One correction I’d like to make is the first name. It’s actually Nate, and not Nick. I really like the value here. Aside from being young ( he’s going into his third year out of Temple , in watching film on this guy, he is very athletic , and a sure tackler. The Colts used him in many different roles , including nickel , and in covering punts. He is an excellent blitzer. He is still really learning the CB position, having been a WR his first few years at Temple, so look for him to get better with experience. I think his inexperience at CB at Temple is why he lasted till the 5th round. I think we got a steal. I’m starting to really like trading with the Colts! Hey guys, I’m sitting in front of the tv now watching a replay of the just recent pre-season games, Colts vas Bears , and low and behold, # 27 ( Hairston ) blitzes from his CB position, , late in the third period, and they start talking about Hairston, and his value as a backup CB/ nickel back.

He's a low cost investment that could work out well for us. I'm still going to trust Joe's judgement on players evaluations until he proves me wrong.

On hands on deck and the Jets need all the help they can get at every position, especially CB. Maybe he’ll be that depth player to get that one stop or one interception to win that tenth or eleventh game. Yes Darnold is the only one that can do this but all hands on deck my friend.
