Interesting outlook for Jets offense as it stands right now

Glad we are only keeping 2 QBs on the active roster, with Falk on the practice squad he should elevate as the future backup down the road...

After Bell and Montgomery having B.P. as the third back on this roster is a plus at least for this year, having Adams on the practice squad could be a great long term addition... Wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't get added to the active 53 sooner than later... Cannon shows some pop and power in the running game but has earned his spot on special teams...

Receivers, this is an interesting position... After RA, Q and Crowder having a specialist in Dortch to develop as an intricate offensive option, claiming Berrios another slot type receiver and having veteran Josh Bellamy bodes well for this offense... There could be another option if the Jets sign Burnett to the practice squad he could return to the active roster mid season...

Tight ends are the x factor on this team just because of the suspension of Herndon, we don't know who will step up and take the pressure off the receivers and bolster the run game...

Offensive line, Qvale is heading to IR, the depth inside is solid but the backup tackle is a rookie who has upside but isn't ready yet...

Overall the pass game could or should takeoff after week 4 when Herndon gets back, but the run game early in the season should be the focal point of the offensive game plan... Could see the RBs getting the brunt of the passes out of the backfield just because the short quick passing game will help out the offensive linemen from having to hold their blocks longer which in turn where injuries usually happen...

Love the way our offense is forming here. I see a lot of points scored by this group all year long. The team has done a few things with the defense that I don't like and it might make it even harder on the offense but hopefully they are ready for that. Don't mark my words on this but if it wasn't for Bell being on the team, Josh Adams would probably be our #1 guy and run for over 1,000 yards. This was a great pick up I must say. No he's not L. Bell, Bell is all world and love the fact that we have Bell but Adams will push for the active squad and playing time rather quickly. Powell probably won't last much longer with the team being that Cannon is the gadget guy they can use for a little bit of everything.

. I hope they put him on the practice squad. It would be a shame to lose him. Wonder who will step up as our return specialist ?

Dortch was added today !! ........... I still think our Roster is still 2 WR's & 1 TE short.

Something very interesting to look out for is how they are going to use Montgomery, especially now that they have signed Josh Adams to the practice squad. Whether Adams gets moved up or not, expect Montgomery to be on the field ALOT! As a RB of course but probably more as a WR. Also expect to see Bell, Powell and Montgomery on the field together quite a bit. Now if Adams steps up like I think he will and they activate him to the team then he will just take Powell's spot. Being that he is 22 or 23 years old, that might just be what we need anyway but as long Powell can produce then play him.
