What did we learn yesterday?

cheatahs have already won the superbowl. Did they unfold 2 banners last night, because if they didn't, they damn well should have. this team gets better every year and it is hard to get better than the best.

if you are amazed at anything, you need to be amazed that they can replace their center and their left tackle with guys who's names I don't even know and you couldn't even tell. They said during the game that the center wasn't even a center, that he played half a game at center in college. pretty sure that's what they said.

compare that to us who replaced 2 lineman with a future hall of famer and another supposedly darn good player and we actually looked worse than last year on the o line. and yeah, I know, they will get better as they play together longer, but they have already played together longer then the cheatahs new guys.

and remember, last season, they had a new left tackle too. they plucked him from the 49ers where he was a backup. he kept brady untouched thoughout the playoffs and then left with his ring for a gigantic contract somewhere else. belichick says no problem. next man up. come on man! this is ridiculous

and please don't tell me it's all because of brady. he wasn't even the reason they won last night. the defense was crazy good. and truthfully, other then the wide-open plays , which there were a lot of, brady actually missed on a number of throws. they could have won by 60. you don't think if brady went down they would just plug in someone else and keep on winning too? just remember their record in games without brady is 14-6. they might win by less points but they would still win

I don't know what belichick knows that no one else knows but until someone else knows it, this crap will never end. never ever.

The only question right now for the AFC is Can Andy Reid beat belichick in a playoff game on the road? Pretty sure we know the answer to that

and again, the NFC has a bunch of good teams all playing for the right to lose to the cheatahs

it's hard to remember this bt after the spy gate superbowls, there were actually a good number of years when the cheatahs didn't win the superbowl. During that time brady set all kind of crazy scoring records and mocked anybody he could, ever score he got but those years did not end in superbowl wins. Personally, I believe belichick was out to prove that he could win a superbowl with offense rather than defense. Well, he eventually gave up that dream and went out and signed Revis and Browner and guess what? they started winning superbowls again. And he hasn't looked back because since then he has gone back to playing great defense and I don't think he'll ever go back



how about our Jets? well, don't we have a bunch of new players, coaches and GM? I sure couldn't tell. We did all the same things that we always do.

I don't care if the Bills defense is really good. your up 16-0 at home you win the damn game. Will the Bills defense look that good when they play belichick? will they hit brady a quarter of the times they hit Darnold? Heck, if they do then they will beat them. I'm not on the phone calling vegas and betting on that one

What can we gain from this season? I really wish we could take the first 6 games and mix them around in the schedule better. I can't see any way, other then the hell freezing over or global warming putting foxboro under water and none of the cheatahs can swim, I can't see any way that we are better than 1-5 after 6.

How will Mosley and Bell deal with 1-5? They have never seen such a situation. yeah they have lost badly to the cheatahs but they have never been 1-5 playing in NY

Can Gase keep things afloat after a 1-5 start? It will not be easy. I don't know what he's shown to make us think he can

best thing we can hope for this season, or any season while belichick is alive is that we can be good enough to be one of the few teams that lose to the cheatahs by less than 30 and that is a short list of teams. I don't see us coming that far before we play them twice this year that's for sure

yesterday we won the turnover battle 4-0 and we were up 16-0 late in the 3rd while not even playing well... and we lost. What are the odds of that? 285-5 is actually the record if you win the turnover battle by 4. They just said it on WFAN as I type this

So we lost Mosley and that's why we lost. We did nothing at all after Mosley left. So if we never signed Mosley would we have lost by 100? Lose by 100? we may do that in the next few weeks. We have 2 chances coming right up

good thing we improved the offensive line cause they somehow got a lot worse.

Bell played great. Mosley played great. Adams was all over the place. Not enough.

cheatahs play Miami next. I'm laughing hard. After they pointed that out last night, they also pointed out how many playoff teams from last year are on the cheatahs schedule in the first half of the season. None! That's Zero! Nil! NOTTA one. Didn't they win the Superbowl last year?

we should draft offensive lineman with every pick from now until the cows come home. heck, we do it with defensive lineman and it doesn't do any good. Why not try it with the offensive line.

curious as to which part you disagree with. Which part do you think makes me sicker. the part where I talk about how our team isn't going anywhere yet again. or the part where I talk about how our arch enemy and the most hated team inane sport ever will be winning yet another superbowl this year. this one, mind you will set them apart as the most championships of anyone. and if God comes from heaven and makes them lose before the superbowl, they will just be back next year to do it all again. how can I say this? because it happens every damn year. because they were 6-1 favorites to win it all before AB found a way to slither into foxboro for a ring of his own and now they are 4-1

which makes me sicker. the cheatahs winning. I came to terms with the Jets losing a long time ago but when belichick made his little exit speech and then joined "Happy Ending" kraft I said to myself. good riddance you little loser. while the Jets might always stink at least the patriots will stink worse with you as their coach. Then a year later he was taking every single player that Parcells brought in for us and bringing them to the dark side because they new Parcells system and could teach it to the rest of the patriots that Parcells didn't leave behind. And since then they have won the last 20 straight superbowls. That makes me the sickest.

I used to love football. For the past 30 some years that I have owned my house, I have either been at work, worked on remodeling my house or running my kids around. If I wasn't doing one of those things, I was laying in bed to tired to move. Except for those 16 days a year for 3 hours when I stopped everything to watch our Jets. (excluding when Kotite was here cause I painted my house on Sundays then) Did the Jets make me happy? 95% of the time they did not, but I watched anyway. almost always knowing that we weren't going to win anything(Parcells years excluded). I loved football even though we sucked. 20 years and counting of cheating dirtbag cocky asshole superbowl wins has ruined football for me and I have zero patience for it anymore

as sick as never winning made me, having to watch the cheating dirtbag belichick and the arrogant bastard, cocky mother fucker, little pansy ass please don't touch me ever brady win almost every damn game made and makes me a whole lot sicker. Why do they win every game? you have belichick who spends every waking and sleeping moment of his life trying to find ways to beat the system, sprinkle in a little Fairy dust(from brady) and throw in a whole lot of cheating, bad calls and easy schedules and you have a team that every aging player who wants a ring will go and play their heart out for for free. How freakin frustrating is that? and there is no end in site. brady will leave someday and someone will replace him. belichick can coach as long as he lives and people live into their 100's nowadays. when I say things about them winning I am doing it in sarcastic frustration because they have made football that I used to love into football, the thing I hate and again, there is no fucking end in site. I think we all come here to share the pain of being a Jet fan and also knowing that most likely, the superbowl will include the cheatahs. sarcastic, frustration is how I deal with it.

I'm not throwing in the towel after one game but it's evident that this was a really poorly called game on the offensive side of the ball.

Gase is 1-4 against McDermott and he clearly coached scared with all of the short dinking and dunking we did all game long.

What difference does anything they have done in the past 24 hours make for the Jets? If anything they have killed the Steelers and rubbed crap in their and the raider's faces. As far as the Jets are concerned we arent playing this year to win the division - the idea this year is to get to the playoffs as a wildcard. If anyone thought we would win the division and knock off the pats with no CB, no kicker, no #1 WR, and a questionable line they are crazy. Before we played yesterday I would say 10 wins were rational....now I am hoping we string together 7. Also, a little more focus on the Jets please!

The oline will get better with more playing time - question is will they get to the point they are any good.
The kicker position is a disaster.
Robby Anderson is a joke as a #1 WR. Not only could he not make the TD catch, but now its come out he screwed up a number of his in game routes according to Gase. This is why I thought you all were crazy to say we shouldnt pursue AB. Not only that suprise suprise Enuwa left the field with an injury.....another bust.
Our CB's are what we thought them to be - weak! Big play after big play they allowed and keep in mind the best WR they had to cover was Beasley...what will they do when they are dealing with real #1 WR???
No pass rusher - Copeland hurts that is for sure but lets be real - a pass rusher isnt on this team.
Oh and lets not forget when Mosley went down our defense was dead. Remember that guy Avery....well that is why it sucked when he tore his ACL. If he hadnt our defense would of been fine without Mosely but it shows our ILB has no depth.

The highlight of the game is when Quinten got hurt and had not registered a stat and Leonard williams told him he did a great job LMAO. Pot calling the kettle black.

For all you guys that loved Mac - he really messed up this team. To be honest this team has not had decent depth and talent since 2010. We have some pieces. But the analyst are right, Joe has years of damage to fix to right the ship and there is little that he can do until the offseason.

I think the only thing I will blame the coach is that he didnt do more shotgun to protect the QB and run some screen plays. It should of been the plan from the beginning. I know he wanted to try and run his offense and build reps - but the oline was not ready to protect Sam and it showed.

We just got visual proof for the first time this season and that's what sucked. As usual, the regular season smacked us hard on the face. And I have feared an 0-6 start since I saw the schedule

Unfortunately we lost Avery Williamson
who would have been calling the D behind Mosley by keeping him in a preseason game when all the other starters were out.
The loss of communication killed the D when CJ went down and Kalil at center was lost calling the protection for the O line all game.

Reality is definitely a bitch. I’ll admit I drank the kool aide and feed into the hype 1000 percent. That’s why I started the prediction thread. Well the reality probably smacked me in the face harder then anyone else. Then again I’ve been a Jets fanatic since 1982 and I know my team more then I know my own marriage. So I sorta knew I was most likely making this out to being a lot more then what it really was. I saw the struggles just like any other true Jets fan but ignored the signs anyway. So now keeping it real, 6-8 wins at most! Unless some real hard and fast changes happen, like before this Monday and what are the chances of that happening? NONE!

Well the reality probably smacked me in the face harder then anyone else. Then again I’ve been a Jets fanatic since 1982 and I know my team more then I know my own marriage. So I sorta knew I was most likely making this out to being a lot more then what it really was. I saw the struggles just like any other true Jets fan but ignored the signs anyway. So now keeping it real, 6-8 wins at most! Unless some real hard and fast changes happen, like before this Monday and what are the chances of that happening? NONE!

Well, we all know deep down that we aren't going to win the regular season so we always find ways in our minds to believe we have won the off season.

Honestly, I have worried about being 0-6 since I saw the schedule. After all the years I can only look at this team with pessimism. But we all know there is usually a time during the season where the Jets win a game that we thought they would lose and get our hopes up only to let us down later. Who knows, maybe we beat Dallas and Philly just for that reason

After listening to wfan most of yesterday, it looks like no one will be surprised if we are 0-6 and the general consensus was that we are equally as bad as the Bills not better than them so no surprise we lost
