Adam Gase on Montgomery carries against the Bills

This is absolutely fucking ridiculous. What a piss poor answer and what a piss poor way of coaching. To not utilize the second or third best weapon you have on your offense is just stupid. Bell was on the field for 67 plays and Montgomery only for 5, WTF! The TE was on the field more and he didn’t want Montgomery out there.

Montgomery should have been on the field for 40 plays at least and given the ball at least 15 times. Until Herndon returns, Montgomery is the second or third best weapon we have and your not going to use him. WTF is wrong with Gase? Montgomery must have been hurt or disciplined for something. Other then that, what’s the excuse?

It may come off that way - but at the end of the day he is paid to make those decisions - maybe he is protecting Ty. Maybe he missed a meeting and the coach didnt want to throw him under a bus. You just never know.

When what he wants, continues to look like shit, his offense is unable to score points, his team starts 0-7, he’ll wish he just had to answer questions about Montgomery’s playing time.
He will ultimately pay the price with his job and quite possibly his head coaching career. He has raved and gushed soo much about Darnold, that if he fails,it’s 100% on Gase.

It’s a possibility and I hope there is a reasonable explanation for it. Otherwise Gase is a fool for not utilizing Montgomery 40-50 times in every game they play. At least have him on the field as a threat, DAMN!

Maybe Gase is showcasing Bell. Maybe he knows what a waste of resources Bell is with the OL we have. Maybe we trade Bell before week 6. Remember he reportedly didn't want Bell. With how shitty this roster is I would trade him if we start 0-4. Washington needs a RB. Colts. Packers. Lions. Texans. I would rather have 1st or 2nd round pick at this point.
