I am now watching WWE Monday night Raw. I recorded it and playing it back right now as the game is still going on! God Bless you if continued to watch the rest of the game. We all knew the ass whippin was going to happen but to see it is something else.

I hung in until the odell touchdown - then I watched preacher on tivo - for a brief moment I had a dream that falk was going to be the next brady (3rd stringer) and light up the browns - then I realized I am watching the Jets.

Funny, my wife has learned and just berates the Jets before the game starts lol

Not really a massacre, only two TDs. Fortunately Mayfield was erratic and off-form. I know what the comms did, once even they had given up hope of the Jets igniting the stadium with a second field goal attempt. They abandoned play-by -play and instead reverted to discussing the Saints-Rams game.

Hopefully the end of the Jets on prime-time this season.

Hmmm, not sure because it also wasnt good, but still better than watching a Jets beating. I did turn it by the game and seen the Buddy Ryan Bears Blitzing of 10 guys and one Safety in back field By Browns for huge loss. Haha I was laughing at Jets QB under Center looking at 10 thinking hmmm, 10 vs 7. Shotgun and screen is how that Defense was beat because its then 1 on 1 in back field and TD. But Jets QB took it under Center and laid down smartly. BTW that was a slap to Jets who had NO CLUE on ex Jets D Coach Blitz.

I had a colorist over and we planned a shopping foray to finalize my Fall wardrobe. Of course we left room for clothing options I might purchase on a whim of fancy, or a particularly fetching ensemble one might see in various French/Italian fashion magazines/websites.

Seriously, the last two seasons have me watching the games almost in a Zen-like trance. I expect the worse, so am not bothered when it almost always comes to fruition. My usual full throated yelling/hurling objects into walls, etc. seems to have vanished.

I'm a Jet fan since the 60s. I think the angst I've experienced from watching the team all these years has finally broken me. I might join a quilting circle that meets on Sunday afternoons.

Since the 60’s, WOW! Props to you my Jets friend and much respect. I’ve been with then since 1982 and it’s hett harder and harder to deal with this crap but I can’t give up on them now. I’d figure if I did, they’d win a Super bowl that year and that is something that would drive me crazy. So they got me hooked and I’ll hang in there but it don’t mean I have to watch them when their playing like this.

Yup, since back in the old days. And I'm proud to say I only tried to jump in front of a bus twice after big losses. And I have the same fear as the part of your post I bolded. 100% that would happen.
