What do you think Ham, do they bring Simms back this year?

He was horrible at Tenn. I was stunned to see him on the Jets roster, but he has a cannon, and in the little we have seen of him he seems to have improved every year. has actually had a few flashes in camp.

I know he has signed an extension, I just wonder if he is actually going to get a chance to compete

I think they probably will keep him, FG, they'll probably draft a QB too, but teams carry three and Vick's not coming back. But I can't say for sure because the new regime didn't bring Simms in and we have a new OC too, remains to be seen how they feel about him.

if the eagles are dangling foles in any kind of package to move up and get mariotta I believe the titans listen. They might like metzenberger but I doubt they like him over foles depending on the what foles salary is at the moment.

I agree with a lot of 82's post as well, but I don't see Tennessee finding a trade partner for Winston or Mariota. I just don't think they are valued high enough for any teams to trade away valuable draft picks to move up for either QB. If someone trades up to #2 it will be because they fell in love with one of the non QB's, maybe Cooper or one of the edge rushers, but I don't think you will see anyone trade all the way up to #2 for one of these QB's. If you use the draft trade value chart as your guide, and NFL people do use it, the cost of trading up to #2 is incredibly high, so it better be for an Andrew Luck or something close, and I don't see these QB's being in that company.
I agree! That's why I feel Tenn is in the perfect spot all around. IMO, they should stick with Mecklenburg and trade down if possible or draft whatever player fits their need but not Winston or Mariota. If Tampa takes Mariota, I believe their will be 5-7 teams (including the Jets) contacting the Bucs to see what it will take to move up at #2 for Winston. How serious these five to seven teams will be for Winston I don't know but teams will call. There will probably be another 3-5 calling on top of that to move up for other players.

If the Bucs take Winston, I say 1-3 teams will contact the Tenn about Mariota (maybe the Jets as well) but only Phila will be real serious about it. 3-5 other teams will contact Tenn about moving up for other players. Either way, I don't want the Jets trading up for either QB and I think either QB that isn't pick #1 has a strong chance of falling to us, question is what do the Jets do then? Jets can built a decent team this year but the GM, scouts and HC has their hands full and it won't be easy. The Jets winning four pointless games this year didn't make it any easier.
