I’m sorry people but I’m honestly starting to believe we are rooting for a cursed franchise. Now I personally don’t think this way or believe in this kind of thing but look at our situation over the past 50 plus years. Since 1969 the Jets haven’t been able to do anything right. Not anything right enough to win another Super Bowl. Which makes it worse because we’re gotten close (AFC championships) a few times since but lost. I’m honestly starting to believe that either Joe Namath or some other player, coach, team or management personnel from that team in that year made a deal with the devil to win that Super Bowl. Maybe even the damn owner back then did it!

Is our team the only one that is going through this bullshit NO but what will it take and when will this change? Some fans will even argue that their teams luck is even worse. I mean the Bills went to four straight Super Bowls and lost. The Vikings did also I believe. So can they make their claim sure but I’m not a fan of the Bills or Vikings or Browns or any other team so I could care less about them. All I care is about our New York Jets and the fact we just can’t get this shit right is killing me. We go through General managers and Head coaches, players of all kinds and Quarterbacks like its going out of damn style and we just can’t get this shit right.

Mean while you have teams like the Patriots, Cowboys, Steelers, Giants, Packers, Redskins and 49ers that have enough Super Bowls to go around that they can give some to other teams that don’t have any and they can still probably have one at least.

That’s the thing, whomever made our deal obviously choose the stupid choice of supreme suffering after that one Super Bowl win. Lol!

Only way is for your owners to sell the franchise to heirs of a pharmaceutical conglomerate. Once that happens, it's smooth sailing for the club with many, many Super Bowl victories to follow.

Oh trust me I believe you. It’s the same thing in college football. Teams like Alabama, Clemson, Notre Dame and Ohio State are always winning or in the mix of winning championships. Same with Florida, Miami, Texas and Florida State not many years ago. Other big time schools like Syracuse, USC (LA and SC), Penn State and many others can’t ever seem to get it right. That all goes to their recruiting, so it’s a little easier to understand. All the great players actually want to go to the winning schools.

So these schools have 63 full scholarships to give out, the winning schools will recruit (25) five star players, (25) four star players and the rest will be three and two star players. The non winning schools will only be able to recruit (10) five star players, (25) four star players and the rest are three and two star players. The NFL is more about drafting, trading for those players and paying them the big money during free agency. So the league should be more well rounded and not dominated by certain teams but it is.

No different in college basketball. Schools like Duke, Kansas, Kentucky, Connecticut and North Carolina gets all the players. Other schools struggle like hell to get the players and can compete.

With this team, who the hell knows? I gave up trying to figure them out years ago. I just ride the Jet wave every week/year. Usually has me crashing into a jetty or some jagged rocks on the shoreline.

I dont think our JETS are cursed! I do believe or GM's have been awful when it comes to Drafting QB's. Jets hasnt Drafted a Franchise QB since 1965! Jets has passed on so many HOF QB's since Namath its comical. Mike Mac was Horrible like Idzik Drafting QB's! So I have a little doubt that Darnold is the right guy yet.. The way to make sure after 54 Years of Missing on QB's is TO DRAFT A QB EVERY YEAR UNTIL WE KNOW FOR A FACT WE GOT OUR QB!!!! So nthis year a 3 win season we have a great chance to Draft a GOOD QB ! So if Darnold does not turn out in a year or 2 we got another young QB in the wings learning and ready! Jets needs to draft a QB every year especially when having a TOP pick in Draft. I havent seen anything yet that makes me feel like Darnold is our guy. Last year Pats Darnold couldnt good down the field and we lost to Pats 38 to 3! This year Darnold could not move the chains in Bills game and only time Darnold got close was a Turn Over in Bills side. When you seee GIANT Rookie move right down the field to win games and make things happen its impressive. Jones WITHOUT their RB still came out firing the ball moving the chains and scoring! Thats without a RB folks!! Jones after only 2 games and 1 game without a game changing RB looks like a FRANCHISE QB! Do any of YOU see Darnold in 14 games come close to looking as good as JONES? Darnold doesnt look as good as J. Allen who moved the chains against us and Pats. Point is I see improvement in those Clubs at QB and do NOT SEE THAT IN JETS AT QB! DRAFT A QB NEXT YEAR JUST IN CASE DARNOLD ISNT IT. So I dont have to wait 5 years like Sanchez waiting and watching everyone LAUGH AT US AGAIN. I want to see if this GM can Draft the right QB!! Doing this will give me hope in future and put pressure on Darnold to get better. 1965 is just TO DANG LONG OF DART BOARD DRAFTING QB's AND IM SICK OF IT!

It will make me feel better knowing we have another top first round Draft pick at QB thats right there waiting for his chance if Darnold doesnt turn out. A Franchise QB is a guy that when a Play is busted he makes something happen for a first down or TD. Jones of Giants looks to have it with great field awareness and what to do and where to go with the ball. Aaron Rogers has it when he first came out and so on. Its not winning games its showing me that they can make plays happen on their own give the team a chance to win. Jones after 2 games shown he knows when to run and stay in pocket. Also when to move to pass or run up the middle 15 to 20 yds for TD. I like Darnold and think he is a good young man raised right. But that still doesnt win games or shown me that he is a better QB than Jones-Allen-Mayfield or Ravens QB/RB. Geno Smith is what Darnold reminds me of right now. Gaise Ill keep quiet in first year....but what Ive seen so farb play calling with Darnold and without is not fooling any Defenses. Gaise might as well yell across the field what his Offense is doing. Makes me cringe. LETS GO JETS and DRAFT A QB next Draft. and over and over till we get out QB!

Can’t do that, makes no sense. Gotta give Darnold another year or two years (really) to show what he can do. He just has to stay healthy and give us 16 games. He came on super strong at the end of last year. His last 6-7 games with no help at all he showed he can hold his own and makes things happen. This year in the first games he threw for over 65% completions. Can’t give up on Darnold this fast, NO WAY!
