What are they waiting for? RB Position

We all know there is nearly no way Bilal Powell is going to see the field, there has to be teams in need for a veteran 3rd down receiving that can pass block... So far this season in three games played he has not been active for anyone of them...

Trenton Cannon is a special teams gunner/returner and that is his role at the moment, could it evolve maybe but he earned his role to be a part of the team...

One would think Montgomery would be the compliment to Bell but he has been lining up as a decoy, maybe Gase doesn't see him as anything else...

I would be pleased to see them make a move by trading Powell for a late round pick then elevating Josh Adams to the active roster, his ability isn't on the level of Bell but he has the ability to keep the momentum spelling Bell... Montgomery is that hybrid receiver/rusher who can do multiple things with Bell or Adams on the field... I am just worried Gase is going to go down in flames not adjusting to opponents because like our last three coaches believe their game plan is untouchable and if executed correctly can't be beat... To this point, 0-3 should tell the coach that his shit is stinking it up on offense and letting our defense look like shit because they are on the field all day all game long...

I’ve been thinking the same and I think I mentioned it once or twice that they need to activate Adams. They also need to use Montgomery ALOT more. Having all of those backs on the field can really help this team. I’m truly starting to doubt Gase thinking here. Hate to call him an idiot but he’s borderline being there at this point. Adams should have been activated about a week or two ago.

Good coaches find ways to scheme to the talent or lack of talent. Our RB's are the only deep position and Bell/Montgomery can both line up at WR. Now when you have a bottom 3 OL and a QB that shouldn't be in the league thats where I cut Gase some slack.

So after three games it seems that Gase has no idea how to use Montgomery and with our horrid O Line Bell's style of running isn't getting it done because he is getting ZERO assistance.

I'd like to see him throw Powell out there and allow him to just run hard and hit the holes to see if they can soften up the D and get them to stop stacking the box. We aren't making any adjustments out there on offense and it's just flat out embarrassing at this point

Gase is an idiot not to use Adams and Montgomery a lot more. These two players are legitimate weapons and we have none other then Bell, Herndon (when he returns) and Crowder. Montgomery could be playing a lot of WR and he can use both Bell and Adams in the back field. It’s a common damn sense thing!!! I’m really starting to question Gase and his decision making.

Like I said earlier, they put Powell out there and let him run downhill and he looked much better than Bell trying to dance behind that line.

Gase needs to mix it up, his shit is so predictable than anyone watching the game can call his BS plays

This is no different than Gase in Miami with Ajayi and Drake. He plays 1 veteran RB. Unless injury forces his hand.
