I thought they'd both retire after last year. Amazingly, they are still hungry for more. Wish our owner, coaches and players had that drive.

I think soon I can convince myself to be done with football. I don't enjoy it at all anymore. I watched about 3 plays tonight. Cheetahs moving from the 50 to the 10 on the opening drive. That was more then enough for me. And even without watching I am ripping pissed

I was a complete nut about the Jets hanging on every move and/or play. Would lose my mind scraeming and get depressed after bad losses or seasons. The last few year, I feel the game has changed so much that I invest a fraction of that energy. I still watch and root for the team. But the passion/madness is not the same. I'd rather go for a hike than watch this garbage on a Sunday afternoon.

I'm the same. And I even skip the games against this team tonight. Losing to them is the one loss that I can't live with. And it is always a bad loss

Yep, I've always disagreed with that American philosophy that in a blowout you should 'go for it' on fourth down because '3 points does you no good'. Kick the field goal and get the goose egg off the board.

in truth. it has mostly always been because of the defense. and the field goal kicker. but yes. this time it will be only about the defense(wasn't last years superbowl also) and this will be the easiest path by far. Can Drew Brees save the superbowl. Damn I hope so
