What did I see tonight:
1) We were completely outcoached (once again).
2) I cannot recall any Jets team in memory with an offensive line that misses as many assignments
as this group. This is now like the 4th game where the offensive line looked completely lost.
3) Darnold made a lot of bad throws, but many of them were due to the fact that a Patriot was in his face at the snap of the
ball. He definitely looked spooked out there and lost composure at times.
4) Was it my imagination or did the Pat secondary cover our receivers like white on rice? Let's face it, the Pats seemed to
know our routes better than our receivers.
5) How many times was Brady aiming throws at a lackadaisical TJ, he was lucky he wasn't burned for 4 TDs himself.
6) I pin tonight's debacle on Gase. To be honest, he has not impressed me so far this year.
7) If I'm Joe Douglas, I'm shipping out underperforming DL/DE from USC, we could use the draft picks for OL
8) Gase and coaching crew did nothing to respond to Pats defense.

At this point I don't really care what they do. That game last night will be hard for me as a fan to recover from. Not because it has an impact on my life because it doesn't. I've seen all the debacles and this was by far the most embarrassing. I was 100% right about this roster when Mac destroyed it and then put lipstick on it. I just don't have enough years left in my life to waste watching this horrible franchise. They have never made one decision that turned out to be good except firing Mac, but it was 3 years too late. I've wasted too many years with the Jets.

Hey folks. I know ur all upset & with just cause. They still r our team. We must love the underdogs. Ya know, we talked about when the Pats were a joke in another thread. Put urselves in the place of a TRUE Pats fan & it should b easy 2 do, cuz... Well, here we r. Anyway, Pats days have come. They got their reward 4 being TRUE fans. Excluding the jump on any winning team fans, which don't Fracking get it. So, my point is this. We r upset, we r saying crazy things about our commitment 2 r team. But u & I both know, u will never b able 2 walk away from this. If 4 some crazy reason u think u can, ur heart will always know. Furthermore, this will not last much longer & better days r coming. Stick together, the bond will continue 2 grow & when we come back we'll b able 2 pit this BS behind us. People who know ur a Jets fan will have much respect 4 u 4 staying TRUE & REAL. We will respect each other even more. Victory will never b as sweet & we will cry... Happy tears of relief. Hopefully b4 we pass on... That being said, there is ZERO about the NE offense that I was impressed with (they line up OL as full backs and smash you in the damn face) but Brady bitch looked extremely pedestrian (yes some of his receivers dropped wide open balls, but some made ridiculous catches at their damn ankles).

They ran tiny/quick guys across the middle all game (maybe someone should try to learn how to run a damn dime defense already), instead we watch LB's the size of DE's chasing guys they couldn't catch when they were 15!

Their defense looked good, but they basically stacked the box and sent the house the entire night! Unfortunately our offensive wizard couldn't adjust! On Darnolds first INT, Robbie was wide open behind the defender (there was no one back there, if he plants and gets a decent throw over the top of the defense that goes to the house).

No slants! No check down WR's, No wheel routes, just line up and watch Sam get pummeled play after play, or hand off to Bell and watch 11 guys tackle him.

as this group. This is now like the 4th game where the offensive line looked completely lost. This falls on the HC and his schemes. These guys can not execute this system yet in his ego centric world, this HC stubbornly sticks to it even in the face of glaring failure, BTW - this coach isnot 13-24 over his last three years.

ball. Indeed they were see above comment about scheme... coupled with NO adjustments. He definitely looked spooked out there and lost composure at times. Agreed and the pressure was relentless... which causes you to flinch even when people do not come. Also, his initial int was a blow call by the line...he made the right read but the line never heard it. However, I'll remind everyone that Bill B is again in charge of the D... have you noticed any difference in their play form last year? Also, when the line calls were made most of the time, BB blitzing came from the opposite side... thus, confusing SAM (no shame in that because BB does it to everyone). Oh, one more point. did anyone notice how BB was coaching up his D last night? Converserly, you had AG standing there by himself not even trying to coach up his O... his coaching up was to tell sam to restart. I mean really what a Fking idiot.

You think, his record for the last few years is 13-24 and based on his resume alone should never have been hired. he is a bad coach who refuses to change his schemes to fit the personnel; thus, the bad OL play, poor game plans. he is living off of Payton's time.... otherwise he is unremarkable.

They might not be the best team talent wise. But IMO they are the best coached. Not just Belicheat but all their coaches collectively. Again, in my time watching the NFL no team is better at designing schemes that work best for their players as well as adapting them when guys get injured. Also no one like them in terms of correcting deficiencies at halftime.
